IF you can get the springs out, try cooking them soft. get them about red hot and cool slowly should take a lot of their strength away. they definitely should have given it a stronger steering servo! edit: if she's "bang-bang" steering, might be able to pop in a stronger motor, or a little gear reduction motor that will fit (slower but more torque)

+model nutty great idea. The springs are a bit stiff. I've never "cooked" springs before but it makes sense. It would crawl so much better with them being softer 👍

yup, it'll pull the temper/hardness right out of them, they'll discolor kinda rainbow, oh well!

Dustin Dunnill I'd learned new tricks for this type toy (got a cheapo jjrc Q15). replace all 3 motors with lower RPM better quality more insistent torque FK-130PH's. it'll lose about 1/3 of it's top speed, they JUST fit in place of the faster/weaker toy motors, with exception to the "steering servo", you'll likely have to cut the forward plastic (motor is more square ended), and the little centrifugal slipper clutch can be irritating. takes a bit of time, doesn't cost 5 bucks, LOTS more torque to the wheels and steering both. steering will go to full lock like "right now", doesn't have to be rolling to do it either. next big improvement is WPL 1/16 soft tires about 5 bucks for a set of 4. military looking square corner tread, a little narrower and a tight fit (31 mm stretching onto 35 mm rims in the case of a Q15), they're a LOT softer and grippier than the half vinyl/rubber type tires, but just rigid enough they won't need foam inserts. it's silly what 10 bucks and 60-90 minutes effort will do, they really should have used the FK-130PH's and better rubber to begin with!

+smikee lol. Yes they are piling up. Rechargeables for the controllers and I store all of my lithium batteries at half charge in fire proof containers with a fire extinguisher close at hand. No accidents yet ... Knock on wood 🎆😁✌

Takes about 45 mins to charge and lasts 30 mins or more depending on use 👍

Mine has been charging for 3-4 hours and I put the battery in the car and nothing is happening.

Make sure connected correctly and turned on. Otherwise maybe a defect.

That's a weird coincidence. I was just looking at these online for a round the garden toy with a mobius in the cab (and possibly an fpv camera on top?)
