Just came across this video, amazing...this is the kind of work that the Discover Channel and Animal Planet should be doing.
Yes, they should contact to Mr. Mikolji.
Amazing spot and great shots! Gave me great ideas for my Rummy-nose tank.

I love watching your Videos...
wow. I like and enjoy your film.
This is simply beautiful. I'm really interested to know all the aquatic plants observed in the video.
My guess eleocharis sp (the long hair grass). The stem plant is heteranthera zosterifolia or tonina fluvatilis? There is also egeria or cabomba like species. Does anyone know or recognize these?
gran fotografo!! chape! Ivan..
Big fan of you sir....
Saludos des de mexico, una pregunta ¿que rio es y de donde? Me gustaria hacer un biotopo
Where in the video are the "half purple" fish?
lets ask George ;)
@@Mikolji "All those tetras here, that's a mess..." so funny. A myriad of fish species.
@@Mikolji Hmm,
I have a feeling that I asked the same question before...sorry if I repeated it,
I forget.
I like to watch this video and lost count already.
All of the best Ivan.
How is George doing?
I saw a freshwater crab once,
it was kind of orange and blue,
but it went into it's hole and I never saw it again,
and nobody believed me because no one has ever seen one.
😂
After seeing the Apistogramma species, was there a new Mikrogeophagus species, or just a Biotodoma or so?
Would be nice to have had a list of names of all the fish! They all look pretty cool!
And plants 😉
Hola Ivan! Tengo una consulta, cual es la velocidad o flujo aproximado de los rios? Compre un nuevo acuario y planeo hacer aquascape lo más fiel a la realidad.
Descubri hace poco tu canal y amo tu contenido. Muchas gracias y un abrazo!

Ivan sei un miracolo per l americ del sud 🤤
Dear George and Ivan
Thank you for the amazing videos
They are simply on of my favorite videos to watch as I find them very therapeutic and calming and inspirational
May I ask if you have ever filmed gobys in hill-streams of Sri Lanka Or Indonesian rivers
I would like to see them in their natural habitat to learn about what other fish lives with them and also what their ideal set up looks like
Many thanks
Wow thanks for your words, I hope to get back on this series I loved it too!

@@Mikolji Many thanks for the response.
You guys are awesome for showing us under the water. Nothing is more beautiful than mother nature and thank you for sharing your expeditions with us. All your videos are inspiring.
Awesome
Ivan do you have any video content of paracheirodon innesi , gymnocorymbus ternetzi and Hemigrammus erythrozonus
in the wild?
I am dreaming, it's amazing.
Are all these clips from one region?
What fish at 9.00 with black dot? Hemigrammus rodwayi?
what are the names of the aquatic plants we can see in the video's and can be found in a Venezuela biotope? somebody?
Your video is pleasing to my eyes,my dreams of expanding my fresh water fish pond on my land in meghalaya.
What are the 3 fish at 11.52 .?
Damn this was a nice episode...
George is probably right about seeing 90% of the species in an hour, but I agree with you that you'd need hours and hours to capture all of the unique behaviour that each species exhibits.
Thank you :)
love this song ✅✅
thank you Channa!

glup glup glup 🐟❤,
Mikolji
what's the backsound song ? anybody knows ?
What are the fish in 13:47 ? they look like gourami but I can't find them online to identify them.
Mesonauta insignis?
does anybody know names of plants we could see?
Ivan, you're a totally hot real man and super stud. OK, that's out of the way. This is an amazing life's work that you're doing videographically of inestimable value in mass extinction times. I wonder how you feel about all the third world laundry soap riachuelos? Are there any third-world (poorest parts is what I'm concerned about for real and accessible solutions/innovations) innovations for keeping toxic laundry soaps from the waters where these fish live in the tropics?
Magnífico 🇧🇷
Can you please confirm the artist and song title that you used in this video? Is it also Taremuru? I cannot find the song title in the credits. Thanks!
Hi, I don't recall the name of the song but it was that artist!
There are some blue tetras among the copella nattereri that it is hard to identify.
If I could only swap places now ;) One day, I hope nature let's me get a grasp of its' beauty there one day.
what species is that light gray with black strip and orange tail?
This music is awesome. What is it?
What is the species of fish at 36:20 please? Anyone ? It resembles Penguin Tetra.
It's 10 months late but hopefully you'll see this. It's common name is Red tail hemiodus, scientific name is hemiodus gracilis
Species identification would be great. I know most of them but there were a few I can't seem to remember the names for. Also great footage.. but if I hear that guy talking in the song one more time saying "attention" than whatever he says I'm going to just submerge my head in a aquarium and just inhale water...😂 good God that got annoying. 😳 other than that way cool!
Thx for movie 👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Name of underwater plants are important in order to make a biotope aquarium.
anyone know what kind of tetra they are showing with the bright orange spot on the tail?
its a 50 minute long video.... any particular place in the video it occurs?
whats the fish at 40:50 ?
Muy buena musica!!..
What I find crazy is you guys do not see a lot of plecos, Or catfish in general. I think florida has more placos than any of thoes areas lol
I guess they have Smoked something!
I want to go on an adventure with y'all
Can someone tell me about the music
All of our music is from an excellent musician - group called Taremuru who records native people in their daily lives. You can download their album at www.mikolji.com/shop/taremuru-music-download/
Ivan, what is that beautiful tetra? at 33:50 ?
Steffan Jansen van Vuuren I honestly think that is a baby pirrana.
@@NeonTetraAquarist pygopristis denticulata
38:39 I'm curious about the name of the type of fish
@Greenthumbscapers Thank You. but before that I already find out ☺
Please tell me the species at 37:00
11:33 those fish are beautiful what are they
Chris White It's Flagtail prochilodus
It just no need Cristal clear water like at hobbies tank.😊
I love your videos and learn new stuff evertime i see one. But plz stop the cencurship.
Очень краасивое видео. Жаль нет субтитров на русском.
clap clap clap
Minuto 1:36 Tonina fluviatilis plant.
Lalalalalalala~la~hi
The background music quite annoying
