You forgot to mention that if you record a football game for example, you do not find the recorded game as one file but it will be recorded in several parts. Something i did not like
I use the Cloner Alliance UHD pro to record all West Ham United matches direcetly from my 4k Firestick to a 1.5 TB removeable hard drive. The files are not split. I usually record each half separately as this means they are easier to archive onto disc (2 discs per match). The only problem I have is that there is no hdmi pass through when the Cloner Alliance box is switched off. To get around this, when I am not watching West Ham United, my Firestick is connected via an extended hdmi lead straight into my receiver and then, if I want to watch football, I take the Firestick out of the extension lead and connect it directly to the Cloner Alliance box. I then hook up the hdmi lead out of the Cloner Alliance box into my receiver using the same lead that usually takes the Firestick output to it (remembering of course to first change the audio output on the Firestick settings to PCM...because of course, the Cloner Alliance box cannot process Dolby 5.1 or better) .. despite this, the Cloner Alliance is is terrific bit of kit and the recordings it produces are spectacular.... it soon pays for itself.
