I love Marin bikes, man. Once I got to test rode a super light weight Marin and I felt it was an e-bike. Glad that you are living your dreams. I have done some riding in Uttarakhand and Arunachal. I just wouldn't carry that much stuff :) I ride with minimum stuff, which can be packed in 2 small bags and then just rely on country people :) Did you already make a video on what all did you carry or a photo or list? I love North East. Also I never ride without a helmet, I don't recommend it too, you be the judge. But your hat is a great idea probably something similar under the helmet. Also the highlighted neon vest is a great idea too. And who painted the circles on first Ganesha you met :) Did you not love the place to book a seat in sumo or bus, the name plates in all counters. I learnt about Majuli while in AP, would be visiting soon.

Hi jojo my name is darshan tamang, from darjeeling i am planning to have a cycle travel from bangalore to darjeeling , i am i bangalore right now , please give me some suggestions
hello Darshan. it is very much possible to reach Darjeeling from Bangalore. Yes, the route is long but its all straight roads so you don't have to worry about the hills etc. Remember that when you start riding on a journey you will be covering on average around 80-100 kms every day (provided you are cycling at least 8 to 10 hrs.) So just divide the no of kms from Bangalore to darj by 100 and you will get. a brief calculation of the no of days you will be cycling. The main thing is to get your mental and physical state ready for the long trip and for that I would suggest you to start riding your cycle at least 3 -4 months in advance at least everyday and one long ride in the weekend. You can easily do it. take care and safe riding
@@darshanvlogs6402 if you don't even have a cycle then technically it will take you at least a year to build up yourself for such a trip. so right now it doesn't matter. just buy a cycle you can afford and just start cycling.

Thank you Bibek. Glad to know you liked the video. Cycle touring is not about speed, so age doesn't matter. In fact, a lot of Europeans start cycle touring post 60, once they retire. The only difference is that if it takes a young person to cover a journey in 5 days, you may take 10 days. So don't think age is a problem since cycle touring is about endurance and not race. and the oldre you get your endurance increases. Hope to see you touring on your cycle in the near future. I can imagine you shuttling back and forth just to capture that perfect moment. A big salute to you sir. Yes, honestly in the beginning the process of capturing yourself is very hard and taxing since you have to stop, make a shot, roll the camera, cycle and then come back to collect the camera, but as you keep doing it, then it becomes more of a habit and you live by it. The purpose of this video was to inspire as many people as possible to start cycle touring. Start with a small weekend trip and gradually grow from there and i am sure you will be going on bigger journeys than this in the future. take care and ride safe

I had put it on the tripod for a passing shot but the velocity of the bus while passing knocked it down and the funny part is that the camera just so happened to be facing upwards, making it a great shot. I love Marin bikes, man. Once I got to test rode a super light weight Marin and I felt it was an e-bike. Glad that you are living your dreams. I have done some riding in Uttarakhand and Arunachal. I just wouldn't carry that much stuff :) I ride with minimum stuff, which can be packed in 2 small bags and then just rely on country people :) Did you already make a video on what all did you carry or a photo or list? I love North East. Also I never ride without a helmet, I don't recommend it too, you be the judge. But your hat is a great idea probably something similar under the helmet. Also the highlighted neon vest is a great idea too. And who painted the circles on first Ganesha you met :) Did you not love the place to book a seat in sumo or bus, the name plates in all counters. I learnt about Majuli while in AP, would be visiting soon.

Yes, but the visa's are the main problem. but you can still do the south east Asia tour or Europe.

i am planning to have a cycle travel from bangalore to darjeeling , i am i bangalore right now , please give me some suggestions
hello Darshan. it is very much possible to reach Darjeeling from Bangalore. Yes, the route is long but its all straight roads so you don't have to worry about the hills etc.
Remember that when you start riding on a journey you will be covering on average around 80-100 kms every day (provided you are cycling at least 8 to 10 hrs.) So just divide the no of kms from Bangalore to darj by 100 and you will get. a brief calculation of the no of days you will be cycling.
The main thing is to get your mental and physical state ready for the long trip and for that I would suggest you to start riding your cycle at least 3 -4 months in advance at least everyday and one long ride in the weekend.
You can easily do it. take care and safe riding

Glad to know you liked the video. Cycle touring is not about speed, so age doesn't matter. In fact, a lot of Europeans start cycle touring post 60, once they retire. The only difference is that if it takes a young person to cover a journey in 5 days, you may take 10 days.
So don't think age is a problem since cycle touring is about endurance and not race. and the oldre you get your endurance increases.

Yes, honestly in the beginning the process of capturing yourself is very hard and taxing since you have to stop, make a shot, roll the camera, cycle and then come back to collect the camera, but as you keep doing it, then it becomes more of a habit and you live by it.
The purpose of this video was to inspire as many people as possible to start cycle touring. Start with a small weekend trip and gradually grow from there and i am sure you will be going on bigger journeys than this in the future.

I had put it on the tripod for a passing shot but the velocity of the bus while passing knocked it down and the funny part is that the camera just so happened to be facing upwards, making it a great shot.
I too started with like 10 kms everyday and then gradually improved. if I can do it then anyone can. Hope you too go on your epic adventure very soon.
