She REALLY thought that this was what God had for her and bc of that, she allowed him to "play" her like that and then there were times when he would use the word of God to rope her in and she fell for it. Since this aired, Chris has lost his businesses and was evicted from Subway (look it up) so at this point, he NEEDS Paige bc she has business sense and he doesn't. He's going to continue to fail until he makes some serious changes in life.
That's what is sad. So many sistas have settled for crumbs and then have been content like this. Thankfully she does not have kids to be in an emotionally abusive environment.
I believe that Paige took her vows literally. I applaud her for hanging in as long as she did. The problem today is married couples don't take their vows serious. It is the only EVER promise we make to God. The fact that her situation was aired on TV for the world to see and judge also didn't make it much easier. Paige is a serious God fearing woman. She is not insecure. She is a beautiful person with good morals. Did Chris deserve her, no. In the end, Paige made the best decision. She's not dumb, but she stood by her husband no matter what kind of jerk he was.

Finally one of the doctors stood up for Paige. In my opinion, the final day should not have been an option for Chris and Paige because it was a lie from the beginning. Chris only showed up for the cameras. He probably only did that so he could be paid because he needs the money. The fact that he turned against his best friend the Pastor because he stood up for Paige also shows you what kind of person he really is. When people show you who they are believe them. Chris showed who he is from day one, the wedding day. Believe him.

It’s easier for us to see the bs in this relationship than it is her bc she desperately wants a marriage and partner. She’s blind by what COULD be, and isn’t seeing what it IS. MAFS needs to go head and pay for her therapy and I really hate that she went through this and that they did this to her. She may have a healthy self-esteem, but she doesn't understand how boundaries work in a relationship and she doesn't have solid assertiveness skills. Match those two things with a strong belief that an invisible sky daddy set her and Chris up to be married ("everything happens for a reason" fallacy) and she ended up in a dangerous and sad emotional trap.

I hate how any time Chris says sorry she starts cheesing like a Cheshire Cat as if to say “see he has changed!” He actively treated her like trash from the start, called her unattractive to her face, continued conversation with an ex (baby or not, that’s disrespectful), left her, been aggressively angry when called out even to women which is a HUGE red flag and basically told her only redeeming quality was her butt and a spiritual attraction! I really hope the experts got her some help because I guarantee she’s still messing with him. It’s so sad and seems like she had little to no outside support from friends or family this entire time. Makes me wonder if she’s been in similar situations and either didn’t want to hear what anyone said or pushed everyone away. There’s no reason she should have allowed a stranger to treat her this way and on national tv.
Watch her go back and still be with this guy. I believe we women have to go through so much hardship to the point of breaking before we can leave a bad situation for good. This is Paige’s journey

I was so upset with Paige. She is the whole package and that she let Chris talk and hold her hostage. I pray she doesn't give him a second chance. He has shown who he is and she needs to move on. This guy is a narcissist. He doesn't care about her and has been playing everybody from the beginning.

He is a narcissist. In the midst of being abused by a narcissist, you don’t realize it . She is addicted to the return everytime he leaves, the compliments after the insults, and worse , he is a religious narc, which means he uses God as a weapon to kwwp her near, and bc she is big on faith, she THINKS God would want her to stay and put up with his BS
FINALLY! I know that wasn't proper protocol for the therapist to interject and object like that, but he WAS playing w/her heart and mind, and that's not right. I hope Paige finds herself and a worthy man for her.
The therapist did a good job calling him out on his bs, you could tell the other two wanted to say something too, and they should have. All of America need to see this guy for who & what he really is.

She may have a healthy self-esteem, but she doesn't understand how boundaries work in a relationship and she doesn't have solid assertiveness skills. Match those two things with a strong belief that an invisible sky daddy set her and Chris up to be married ("everything happens for a reason" fallacy) and she ended up in a dangerous and sad emotional trap.
She does not truly love herself sounds cliche but she doesn’t. She is settling for being second option..now that his first choice isn’t going according to plan he wants her back..

Im so glad the lady the yellow spoke up...shes a marriage and family counselor and im sure she saw this marriage as a developing domestic violence case...good on her for speaking up to save Paige. Some victims don't realize they are victims and thats usually stock home syndrome settling in. Paige im happy you left and your future kids will be better off wothout him as theor father.
