This is something you wont regret doing. Not only does my Jeep immediately fire up when I start it, The pedal is more responsive and the idle is smoother. The overhead display for mileage (DTE) used to show 318 on a full tank but now shows 380 on the full tank. I should have done this a long time ago

Just did this in my 97 ZJ after the fuel line started leaking. My injectors where stuck on tight! I had to use a little elbow grease to get them out. I already tell it runs more smoothly and it feels like I have more power ( it use to starve at 4k rpm and now can climb to red line). I highly recommend this swap mainly because your injectors are probably old and this upgrade can be cheaper than factory replacement. I got mine on eBay for $7O with pigtail adapters.

Good job but one big note. You should have cleaned the entire intake area with compressed air before you pulled the fuel rail. There was a lot of dirt and debris that was moving around while you pulled the rail. You want to clean that off first. You don't want to let it fall in or wipe it into the intake/combustion chamber after you pull the injectors. Cheers!

Well done video instruction. My fear is that just 1 realistic function that "breaks" before or after the operation is completed will be a near permeant catastrophe as I will have to ride my bike to pick up any auto parts store "IF" they own the part or go to a junk yard. I guess I am to buy LOTS of food before I begin.

I found a similar 97 which had a lot of that work already done so I sold my first zj for this one that had most of the work done already.
It's been great. I've got it up to about 240k and it runs perfect.
Saw one just like mine with 400k that just sounded great.
So I'm shooting for 400k now.
