Star Wars Black Series Battlefront Shock Trooper Review

- Kind of an ugly action figure, a mix of the Phase 2 Clone Trooper Shock Trooper and the Star Wars Classic Trilogy Stormtrooper. But you know what? It works for me. Maybe because I've been blasting rebel scum for the past two days.

No idea why, but I absolutely love this design. It's so cool to see these colors on a Stormtrooper. I got lucky enough to pick up 2, so I'm itching for an Emperor for them to flank. Guess I'll finally nab the Black Series one and see what I can do to modify the cloak.

Got lucky with my shock trooper! Walked into Walmart one night, almost didn't check the toy section because I was just there the other night and knew what was there, but swung by anyway and saw all the original peg warmers but spotted one last shock trooper off the peg in the hot wheels section and grabbed him up!!! Haven't seen another one anywhere since! And no more restocking! I lucked out

I got mine today. Mine's hips are wobbly though. The ball joints are fine, but the axle that connects the hips just kinda floats around and wobbles.

The paint job on this trooper looks fantastic and I think it looks good on the New Hope Stormtrooper body. Hopefully, you find more to build a small army of these troopers. The shock trooper is a winner much like The TRU First Order Snowtrooper.

Checked my local Wal-Mart this morning to see if they had this and was surprised to see they had 3 on the shelf. I picked one up and it's a pretty nice overall. I didn't really like the shock trooper design on the stormtrooper when it was first announced, as I didn't really think armor designs really lent themselves to the stormtrooper armor as well as they did the clone armor. But I have to say, it has grown on me quite a bit since and I'm really digging this figure. Every single one of the joints on my figure was super stiff though and took a lot of finnicking to get it posable. I felt like I was going to break it a couple times. Nice review though! Catch ya next video!

The belt is game accurate I played as the shock trooper and he was awesome

I was able to find this one at walmart on thanks giving day as well as captain Phasma. I was amazed that this figure even existed so i did not even hesitate to buy it

i was shocked, because normally the walmart in my area is never stocked up, and on top of that it was the thanks giving pre black Friday opening. I never thought i would get Phasma ever. But these Shock Troopers are a great surprise because i had no idea of there existance till i bought it last night. Kind of makes me want to get the game now.
Awesome review!!! I found three of these at Wal-Mart and bought two of them. I was lucky and just happened to be there when they got put out. I haven't seen them since so they may not be restocked.

I really like this figure too but I want to see the paint job on a clone body. I think that would look even better.

Maybe you can give the bandai model kit stormtrooper a simple custom paint job. I think it would look cool
+q4k The actual model in the game looks more rough, jagged, so that would be a pretty cool repaint of the model kit.
I just watched this video, and the musing about how easy it would be to have a Episode 3 shocktrooper at the end of the video is so funny. Because it took them 6 more years to release one!

finally got my hands on this one today, along with the exclusive C3PO. and the Halo 5 guardians exclusive Blue and white Athlon figure. and got the other halo 5 figures a few days ago, aaaaannnddd expecting a delivery of Doctor Who stuff, I'm done for 2016 after that due to suffering from a condition called pooritis.
Oh no, we still have a month to go before we're done with 2016 spending. And that's not even counting Christmas!

the plastic used for this figure is a lot more brittle than the other ones
i tried to angle my trooper's hand down so he could hold his rifle and it broke off, so BE CAREFUL!

Boy, I'm not into it. Didn't buy it or want it. Just my preference and overall its a simple stormtrooper with red paint job. Not my cup of tea!? Yes, Phase 2 trooper would have been perfect!!
