The End of Life: Who Gets to Decide? ~ (The Mary Hanson Show)

Mary sits down with Ellen J. Kennedy Ph.D., Executive Director of the non-profit organization, World Without Genocide, to talk about the End-of-Life Option bill that is being debated at our state Capitol this spring. Ellen's husband died a painful and prolonged death in 2022, and she is sharing her story w/ the legislators, hoping to bring more awareness to this kind of family experience. Her husband and she hoped and hope to help people understand that a patient needs to have more choice in the way his/her life ends if their situation is terminal with no hope of a reversal and the patient is alert and capable of understanding all options.
