I'm glad they got better in real life too. No targeting for obelisk (4000 atk so no ra style retrain needed) and dmg the dragon knight has a quick effect to destroy while fusing with subs and any dragon if you don't need the outdated eye of timaeus.

Not just the dub, but the TCG as well. Probably because the word "black" has racial connotations that they wanted to avoid.
