I can't believe I'm getting free rimrim AND a lovely fruitbowl. I'm going to be honest, I half expected the giant to get back up the moment icewolf got close to it.
It would be interesting if, in the final Grey Goo Controller, the ground remained normal instead of being covered in grey goo. Instead, the Controller could be protected by Grey Goo drones that are clones of your colonists. These drones would have the best bionics, armour, and weapons available, with some even having modified genes to reflect their counterparts-like a drone that resembles a vampire. However, not all colonists have clones of themselves. Only those whose bodies have come into contact with the grey goo or mechanites can be replicated. For instance, Mara, Mara Jr., Amber, Zeruci, Dragomir, Seb, and Sordyl have never had the mechanites inside them, so replication is impossible. In contrast, Gene and Pistol, who were mushroom people mutated by the cure administered by the mechanites, can be cloned. Imes and Warzywniak became shamblers, so their data can also be used for replication. The Vampire trio possesses mechanites that prevent them from being infected by the grey goo, but data from their bodies can be used to create clone versions. Rustica, despite being dead, was buried on an island that may have been consumed by the grey goo, which means her corpse could now be part of the grey goo and thus replicable. Lastly, Blast Radius, the first death and one of the original trio, should be the original one because unlike the rest she could still be alive.
*@Mr Samuel Streamer* 29:22 You can land the ship FAR away from the goo controller, at the "edge" of the "goo territory", then you mass-ballon-raid the controller, in that way your pawns don't need to set their feet into the goo until it is actually needed to take out the controller.
*spoiler* The fact that my first thought seeing the tornado heading towards the containment facility was "Cassian no..." despite him not appearing in recent episodes and his first name rarely being mentioned shows just how solid a story you've shaped here Mr Sam, tip top job champ
The colony got really lucky that that launch site was fumigators rather than drones. Sure, not getting to steal their stuff is a downer; but a few members of a baseliner pirate faction getting offworld isn't really a big deal. If the mechanites were orchestrating offworld moves the stakes would have gotten out of hand pretty rapidly.
I have loved this series and you are doing an incredible job. Been watching for years and this game and you have grown hand in hand. This series has felt like the thing you've been looking for for a long time where most of the time it has felt like a perfect mix of difficulty and reward. something you talked about in the tech versus magic playthrough where it was hard to find that balance of crushing the enemy and being crushed. The tense fire fights in this have totally felt like they met that balance and the player versus environment backdrop has allowed for some incredible character development. Just great job. The hidden map and adventuring the world has been awesome. Thank you and the modders as well for all the work compiling the mod packs, much easier to get dropped in using the mod packs and a fantastic guide for how to use rimpy for the first time as well. Cheers
I love is event precisely for that reason. There should be more mods which have your player faction be the raiders. I imagine a high-level base raid where the enemies actually intelligently plan. The only entrance is a killbox. If you sap in from the side, they're waiting there. There's a ridiculous amount of wealth in the colony, including massive amounts of raw resources and high-end furniture as well as piles of rare items.
After this series, you could continue on this world! Gone from fungal zombie apocalypse to goo disaster to "World War RIM" where the rangers and the mutants became a single force, and scarab and the fumigators formed an alliance! It could take the form of a ideological war of some sort.
Wazifniak rises again from the containment field, you thought it was over you thougt you eliminated every one but the new nucleus was on the iseland all along just waiting for a grid failure.
I get that Rebel is an awful trait, it's just painful when a colonist ignores your orders in a moment of danger. However, the unkillable Icewolf should have been given that, because what's more rebellious than breaking your ancestors curse?
17:48 yeah that's the general thought process for Aged Cares homes, that's why STDs are always around. Old people just stop caring & start banging. Enjoy that knowledge. - From an Aged Care worker.
The Survivor finally destroys the entire Grey Goo Drones faction with their tactical command and what is left is that they're masterpiece they leave behind which is the thing called Grey Goo Controller.
Everyone knows that if you take down one goo controller it sends out signal to activate other nanites. The only way is to destroy all 3 AT THE SAME TIME!!!
Can't wait for the finale. No matter what happens it'll be a fitting end to a great series. Roussev the moral vampire vs Anne in Mr Streamer's Super Soldier Showdown miniseries? Fingers crossed for an uneventful scan and results mate 🤞
Very excited for next year's Return To Mushroom Goo Planet, where the genetically mutated super soldiers of SCARAB - whose domination of the planet was accelerated by Gene's constant gene donation - are the primary villain in yet another post-apocalypse.
Random probably hard to implement idea: make it do you can capture some high tech people, like the drones from this series, and then study them like the anomaly lads, to get research points towards techs for their implants/armour/whatever.
1:53 I swear I have seen this exact layout for this mechanitor complex all day today, and now it's turned up in the videos too. Wtf is going on here lmao.
If you wanted to you could use archo gene removers to remove icewolf's weird cosmetic gene or just leave them since they could be funny i personally don't really like the mushroom hair since it covers his horns
It's to bad there was already a vampire playthrough fairly recently because the idea of a Knightley order rising in a post apocalyptic world only to abandon the idea after a heavy siege and then embrace vampirism to survive I feel like it could be an interesting segway to a new colony...
Day 4 of asking this for the next series idea!!!! The “Rimthology”. It features slowly aging immortal gods with specific powers responsible for different life and aspects of their land the mortals live in; Like the gods of fertility, war, light, storms, and the dead, etc. The series would start with 3 gods, including an all-father figure like Zeus or Odin, and gradually expand their godhood to rule over mortals. Children of gods and godlike beings (Ex. Demigods or other strong races) have unique powers, while demigods (children of gods and mortals) resemble their god parent but age faster than gods and slower than mortals. The pantheon is also in constant conflict with other pantheons trying to expand their empires to become the #1 biggest mythology
Sure, but where is the catch? Where does it tie to Christmas and where does it make Sam suffer? I am all for it, but he seems to enjoy the chaos and challenge above all else, like a world overtaken by the grey goo and mutant mushrooms. He also likes doing festive series at the solstice.
@ This is goin to be a lot so bare with me 😅 This isn’t supposed to tie onto any holiday but I can say is the catch is, you are at constant war (Like CONSTANT) the goal is to create gods that give the mortals a dependency on them and then expand that rule to all over the areas that already have a thriving pantheon controlling it by either, killing off the gods leaving the mortals in need of a new leader/god to follow or steal ALL their mortals by converting them to your side and abandon their gods, *whilst other pantheons are doing the same* *Mortals* are COMPLETELY dependent so that means they can’t hunt, fight (Unless they are taught for war), farm (They can’t grow food, they can only pick and cook wats alrdy grown), and tend to sicknesses and wounds. Only the Gods or Demi gods are tasked for said things, each using their powers for different things like growing food, healing, war, weather, etc all while possibly being attacked
As for killing gods, Only gods or demo gods (which are weaker) can kill gods so mortals at war have no chance of killing one unless they had a rare enchanted weapon specifically to kill them. So if you where to go the route of killing off gods, most likey it’d have to be a head on god/demigod fight, which risks you losing them to death in the process and handicapping your mortals. If successful, you’ve gained new land and mortals which you can then assign another trusted god to rule over in your absence while they are conquering I don’t want it to be easy for him so these conditions should be enough to make him SUFFER
a fruit bowl made by a British nah it would be a bowl with baked beans, banana slices, mini sausages and a Bolle oh waer(bottle of water) to wash it down
the rimworld isnt hollow, its a disc. underneath said disc resides psychic alien parasites that hide their true form inside of human corpses known as Strangers

No Super Cucumbers in the fruit bowl? Unacceptable.
Sucer cucupungers?

Unsubscribed and reported to the authorities. Sam will answer for his crimes.
Next one would be a large jar of pickles 😂
Suker kyucapunger
"New lines=New names" would be a banger of a rimworld character name
‘God gives his funniest battles to his silliest clowns’ is such a great saying
I can't believe I'm getting free rimrim AND a lovely fruitbowl.
I'm going to be honest, I half expected the giant to get back up the moment icewolf got close to it.
Obviously Mr. Streamers teeth are in pain due to the brick wall he ran into with a living breathing IceWolf.
Careful we are in uncharted territory
Icewolf doing electrical work. The final battle is close...the grim reaper must feel a nasty itch
"My horses are getting sucked up into the tornado!" Classic oklahoman problems

17:38 Alanah is probably technically older then gene considering he aged physically faster then a normal person
Best series I’ve seen. MASSIVE step up from Thirst. That was hot lack of dog water.
killing everyone trying to leave and stealing their ship is kind of evil
That is a very lovely fruit bowl, Mr Streamer
I would love to see a series on Ancient Aztecs from you ❤

"World War RIM"
where the rangers and the mutants became a single force, and scarab and the fumigators formed an alliance! It could take the form of a ideological war of some sort.
I had a similar idea, with vampires controlling both sides thrown in for a callback to the goo solution causing the next apocalypse for this planet.
Wazifniak rises again from the containment field, you thought it was over you thougt you eliminated every one but the new nucleus was on the iseland all along just waiting for a grid failure.

I present the happiness 🐌
Be happy
Thank you for the fruit bowl.

If icewolf survives till the end the world gets hit with a planet killer she is to dangerous to be left alive
Commenting for the algorithm
An era is coming to an end.
And of the Game doesn't...i dunno. Throw a meteorite at icewolf I'm not sure if reality can handle this.

hope your dental stuff goes well

nice
Hey mr streamer i saw when u came back to that big goo fella there was a goo luncher in the coner of the map just a heads up
the rimworld isnt hollow, its a disc. underneath said disc resides psychic alien parasites that hide their true form inside of human corpses known as Strangers
Installing a fire suppression system into the man who’s wife was literally incinerated? Very funny Mr. Streamer.
make living icewolf the main character of the next series
+1 for the fruit bowl apology
cant you do the serjares on drowns in the labs? or in there base?
Are we going to get a ice survival Christmas series
Is there a way to age Icewolf, so much build up just for him to march into battle with no armor and at half his potential
