This is where I found the game really hard. I remember my mother telling me that my sister lauren found it really hard, but she never got angry or rage quitted at it, but I did. If they do a reboot of this game, I hope they can add a difficulty level for when you're stuck. I haven't played this in like a month.
I wish after beating the generators, you'd fight the mad doctor himself, using his snow globe to send out attacks, and you'd turn his own machines against him with paint, or destroy them entirely with thinner. They should totally add a mad doc boss fight in, if they ever remake this game, cuz the buildup to him is done so well, with only an average execution.
With Rebrushed coming out, they have a perfect opportunity to do this! It would really emphasize how your choices matter in this game, since this fight is the only one where the outcome doesn’t really change like the other boss fights. Plus, how you described a potential rework also makes it so that the Mad Doctor is still in the right position for the second game to happen while making it feel like it mattered which path you took.
