Hey everybody, just a gentle reminder, that we really need not look any further for answers or completion. It is all here. Right now. “You have everything needed for the extravagant journey that is your life.” - Carlos Castaneda (Don Juan) Peace ❤
Thank you for this video. It’s been an increasingly stressful end to an already stressful year. I recently acquired a full time job, something I have not had since graduating from university. I start in January, which means that for the entirety of 2024 I was trying to make ends meet between part time work, side hustles, etc. Needless to say it has been exhausting, and faced with the upcoming holidays I have very little spare cash to spend on gifts for my loved ones. I have been doing work on myself and practicing keeping my attention on the present moment to stay focused, process my emotions, and cope with the struggle that this year has been. But now with only 2 weeks left in the year, I find that the present moment is stressful, and that I don’t know how I’m even going to make it through to the new year. I keep wanting to jump forward to 2025 where I’m employed and all of my problems have magically gone away, as silly as I know that sounds. I’m trying to take the bad with the good, and not run from the parts of life that scare me. Your videos have helped me immensely in the past month to relax and remember to breathe and experience the present moment. I saw that I was one of the first viewers on this one and felt compelled to share. As both an artist and someone who listens to asmr, I find great peace listening to your channel. Know that what you are doing here is helping, somehow.
Hey Sam, thanks for your message. I totally feel you! It seems like we never get to rest in life and take a break, constantly managing and doing stuff. After all, that's what we've been taught to do-that life is not now, but in some future that will never come. The struggle is very real and relatable, and I'm happy to hear that you are facing it head-on as opposed to escaping from it. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the struggle is the only thing that leads us to "liberation" and inner peace. To look it straight in the eyes and see that it is just a phantom, conjured up by a rift in our mind caused by the so-called education we received as children. As an artist, do you feel like you're in touch with the authentic version of you when you're creating? The unconditioned? I’ve always felt that this was my anchor to sanity. Thanks again for sharing. And yes, it does help. 😊 We grow together in peace! ❤️
