It's a hell of a thing to take a man's life. I really like how prison architect touches that darker side of executing someone in the name of the law. They are/were human just like you, and yet you must destroy all they will ever be. a grim reminder of the reality of the death sentence.
The developers specifically wanted to make death row have an impact on players so that they wouldn't just see this as a way to get a cash bonus. Death Row inmates are rare themselves, your prison must be in lockdown when you're in an execution, and they must have a set number of appeals to try and get out of death row. There is some pretty impactful music after the prisoner is executed which I'll see if I can find.
+Root TheLucario Yeah, sound was a big part of this game, sound effects, music and all. This soundtrack, coupled with the lengthy appeals process and the long procedure when you actually get to the execution gives it a very heavy feel. Thanks for the comment!
Pretty much, the appeals for the prisoner alone take a few ingame days minimum, and every denied one means he's a step closer to death. Assuming you get a death row inmate, as you have to get authorization for it and wait for a death row inmate which are rare. Your lawyer can also reduce the amount of appeals required for a legal execution...
I have a ward specifically for death row inmates. I only executed one and that was because they would not stop beating guards. I have about 7 just chilling there.
Remember, there's more than one method of execution, five to be exact... Hanging: The simple method, stemming from the old days. Firing Squad: The old fashioned method, stemming from the old military days. The Electric Chair: The oldest method in the book, dubbed "Old Sparky", the typical method in Prison Architect. The Gas Chamber: The most dangerous method, because as they say "Gas does not discriminate against who it kills", be it the condemned or prison staff. Lethal Injection: The most common method to date, which is unique to see here. They say it's painless, but records show otherwise, and it's rather gruesome to think about...

A life for a life
@@maxouno5817 with the gas exicution mod its more like a life for gas in you'r lungs (and you can kill any prisoner (even staff if your not carful)
Note:that death row prisoners are the rarest in the game
At 1:07 i heard a door
Wasn't a door, but the noise of cashflow. I had the game running in the background but zoomed out as to only catch the music.
Oh
Sounds like a jail door though
I really like the music. It sounds awesome and matches well to this dark moment of killing someone with 2.000 V of justice
One of the best songs in the game

It's very dark.
one of the most scariest music ever
btw,why your execution is different ?,where'd you get that ?
It was a mod downloaded from the workshop that changed the look of the game, from the sprites to materials used, called Blueline.

How to speed up the process?
I have like 8 death row inmates and the highest is only like 69%.
You need death row appeal program and luck. You have to wait ever 4 days in game time.
@@ThatRandomGamer_Main Yeah I forgot the Appeal program I forgot to delete this comment but thanks anyways.
