Hi all, I work in a laboratory and repair Biohit µpipettes every week and your maintenance isn't correct, why do you unscrew the top of the µpipette with the key? This part is made for the adjustement of the µpipette, if you turn this part the volume will no longer be correct by reference to standards. (NB: the body part of your µpipette is cracked below) Have a nice day :)
@@aishakhan6792 You don't need to remove the top part for maintenance, only lower part (except for a volumeter maintenance). If you still do it, you must calibrate again the pipette (by accredited companies).
hi munish thank you for the tutorial, could you please suggest whether we can use a wrinch to open the top if opener is not there and can we put oil instead of silicon lubricant.
I'm sorry but this video has been made by people who don't fully understand their equipment. They didn't even use the tool supplied to release the tip ejector correctly. That's probably why the body of the pipette has a crack in it.
