This video might be 3 years old, but it's priceless. I had the issue with the light being dim and my turn signal indicator flashing quickly. I changed the bulb out twice and it still had the issue. So I started searching online and found old message board posts about it, old forum posts "It's the ground, replace the bulb, check the voltage, the wiring is going bad" and other suggestions that I had to get through while reading people asking circular questions about which light, which side, are the other lights dim, etc etc etc even in topics where people straight forward said "My turn signal light is out, or dim, and the thing is flashing quickly, what might be the cause?" It was so irritating. No one EVER suggested it's just these 3 connectors. I did EXACTLY what you show in this video and BOOM. Problem solved. A HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU! I was told I had to replace the entire headlight assembly too at a general garage but when i took it to the dealership and they just replaced the socket. To anyone else who reads this - DO NOT BELIEVE SOMEONE WHEN THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY!

Which I find hard to believe. At any rate, I let him know about this so he really couldn't honestly say that any more. I wonder if a new socket will fail at some point as well?

Dude seriously thank you this just fixed the blinker on my wife's car, I had no idea what was going on. Ran diagnostics tried 2 bulbs Then just bent the connectors and it worked😅

Literally solved my issue in moments. Weird that the same lights flashed when unlocking the car, but wouldn’t when using turn signal. This fixed it though. Thank you!

Does this happen on one side of the turn signal ? 🤔 if so change the whole socket from the other side to the side that is not working try that if it works than you need a replacement socket try offer up or ebay or your local wreck yard

For years, the dealership said the bulb was an electrical issue. I'm a female and I replaced it by myself. Way easier than I thought 😂 The prongs needed adjustments... you rock. 🎉
This is an awesome video! My daughter's '14 Kia Forte lost blinkers on the passenger side and I was worried that I'd have to replace the multifunction switch but it turns out that Tony's fix was on the money. Thank you very much...The dealer said it'd be $1600 for a new switch/labor but fortunately, I ended up here. Kudos and thanks again for the exceptional help!
This is the easiest fix for such an annoying problem thanks Tony you are the man. I felt like I was right there with you I used a modified leather needle with a hook to perform this fix and it literally took 30 seconds!

I have to thank you so much ... our 2012 Kia Sedona has been having this issue for a long time, to the point that we simply ignored not having our turn signal, & instead having the "fast blinking" ... but now we couldn't pass our annual inspection ... the mechanic said it could be a fuse or some bad wiring ... but after messing with it for several hour this past week, I just tried your solution, & it worked perfectly ... Thank you so much, for making this video, I would’ve never thought that would be a problem, I have a 2016, and I just tried your fix and it worked immediately, you saved me a lot of headache for sure, especially because when you look at the socket you visibly can’t see any corrosion or any problems so you don’t realize the springs have collapsed
I would also like to add that you can go to a junkyard and look for the part but you don't have to exclusively look for kids that same part is in Hyundai's

My front passenger blinker was coming on and staying steady, not blinking. The back was blinking fine. both driver's side were working as well. Out of desperation, I did your bent contact trick and the thing works now. Thanks.

I would start with the fuse box chek them all. Maybe is the actual led inside the cluster you would have to take apart in order to fix. When you turn on the turn signal does it make the clicking sound ?

Replaced mine a few days ago, when I pulled the bulb it was still good so I ordered the socket of amazon for like 15 bucks. Easy fix

If you replaced the bulb and it doesn't work you need to buy the socket where the bulb sets you can find them on ebayy or get it from a local yard 👍
