OMG, she's good at blending the two languages together in one song. Personally, I am a Chinese speaker as well (Cantonese mainly) and for quite a while thought it was a full English song. Artists like this should blow up fast, another song like this is Kali Uchis Telepatia, different genre and language combo though. Nice work
It seems like the gatekeepers only let certain people from certain places blow up internationally, a few at a time, right now it's anyone riding the hallyu wave but I'm hoping Mandopop artists will get more of a taste of that success soon, especially ones that aren't associated with mainland if its the political division and conflict that's keeping them from being more popular
