- Bohemian Rhapsody is an upcoming biographical film about the British rock band Queen, focusing on lead singer Freddie Mercury's life and leading up to Queen's Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium in 1985. The film is a British and American venture produced by 20th Century Fox, Regency Enterprises, GK Films,TriBeCa Productions, and Queen Films, with Fox serving as its distributor. It was directed by Bryan Singer, written by Anthony McCarten and stars Rami Malek as Mercury, with Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech, and Mike Myers in supporting roles. Producers are Brian May, Roger Taylor, Bryan Singer, Graham King, Robert DeNiro and Jim Beach. Principal photography began in London in September 2017 with Singer as director. In December 2017, Singer was fired for absence and clashing with the cast and crew; Dexter Fletcher was hired to complete the film, although Singer will retain sole director credit as per DGA guidelines. Filming concluded in January 2018. The film is scheduled for release in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2018 and in the United States on 2 November 2018.
Synopsis :
Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. Queen cements a legacy that continues to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

Mazzello doesn't look as much like John Deacon as I originally thought he would. They never get his hair right. However, if that was done better, he might look more like him. He can pull off the voice pretty closely though which might help.
Rami feels like Freddie more than looking like him, however it's still such a close resemblance, visually.
Ben neither looks, feels, or sounds like Roger, but I guess that's what we're getting.
And finally, Gwilym Lee Looks like Brian, Sounds like Brian, AND feels like Brian. I don't think they could have picked anyone better than him for Brian May.
Also, I feel like I'm the only one who ever though about this, but I feel like Jim Parsons would have also made a good John, had he done the accent good as well.
