Don't attack the first army with a quest above it, ignore it for 1 turn and go straight for the faction leader. Fight both army's at once, let them retreat, confederate all their units giant included!
Instead of getting Crookback I will probably chose allying with Queek so I can focus on developing myself, focus on dwarfs and avoid Skarbrand. Worth it.
This campaign is hard as gromril! Even the first battle is pyric victory. Every fight i take is stacked against me. I tried the squig cheese and it doesnt last enough. I fought the k8p army in the field and blobbed up in a lake so the enemy has less attack. Nope, their basic lord is too much for gorBAD. He is pretty squishy. The shaman is the only thing keeping me alive early on. Ive rolled the campaign so many times and each time im up against insane odds. If skarbrand isnt running me down then its queek sieging me with 2 stacks all before 15 turns.
I dont exactly know why but in 2 Gorbad Campaigns (I reset alot of my campaigns). I noticed Thorgrim goes after Gorbad instead of usually Skarsnik with his armies. And Thorgrim usually spams dwarf great axes at me. Took me a couple of tries to understand how to fight the great axe spam. But once i slugged on and killed him i noticed Skarsnik is doing nothing. Im assuming for some reason hes going after Ungrim who chews Goblins down like gum...
I'm loosing the campaign, thinking about a restart 😅 I got the ShortKing and Skarsnik on me spammimg me with fullstacks on VeryHard. I made few mistakes early on autosolving etc.
Thanks Costin for uploading my 2nd favorite faction.
WAAAGH!

or sneak to avoid fighting that 1 entire and kill the Faction leader.
I had tried to taunt the moon gitz out of karak eight peaks but they just move to the closest settlement.
