its not a prisons job to punish you. the judge did that. the prison is for limiting your freedom. if you treat people like animals they will act accordingly.
I cant remember which country of the scandinavian countries, but in a prison in one of Them, a guard forgot to lock a door, the inmates did not break out, they build a pillow/blanket fort and made a chocolate cake. 😂❤
But this type of prison is going away fast. The immigration crisis has maybe hit Sweden the hardest but all of Europe, including Norway, is having to scale up their maximum security prisons. Much harder and more ruthless criminals will take advantage of this old system.
You should see the interview Michael Moore did with the father of a boy who was killed in the terrorist attack in Norway in 2011.
