I have a small garden, but, it is now becoming a fairyland. I have worked on it and continue to work on it and now the lovely creatures such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are coming to visit me. Thank you for sharing all of your charming ideas and lifestyle with us all.
Oh my! I can certainly relate to your garden problem! At 62 I put in 9 different gardens on my 2 acres. I enjoyed every minute of it! BUT! Now that I am pushing 80 yrs of age it has become too much for me to handle while living alone. My neighbor and I are constantly complaining to each other and asking each other "what the hell were we thinking?" So now we just do what we can and the rest will have to wait. I do wish you good luck with your garden renovations. I am sure that it will be gorgeous when you complete it. Do continue to take time to do your videos though. I thoroughly enjoy each one!
I feel the same way. I have the same exact issues you do. I got carried Away with gardening. Now its over whelming and sad. I learn to use more mulch to cut down on weeds. Anything I can think of to cut back on maintenance of gardens. It never ends. I made a pond that adds to the work. But enjoy the peacefulness it creates. Maybe turn some gardens to grass again. ???? Yes I feel your pain.
I’m in the same boat-or garden. Twenty years ago I couldn’t get enough of it. Now I’ve just turned 75 and it seems overwhelming! I’ve added a lot of hostas!

Good work! I have several gardens but my neighbor and I share a veg and herb garden between our two houses. We share the watering, care and harvest and it works out so well.
I have white love in a mist in a south facing border here in western Oregon. It was here when we moved into this house 5 years ago. I didn't know what it was. I love the look, with the pointy leaves that grow to the back of the flower. The seed pods are wonderful. They come back every year. Love the wildlife sounds!
As a Native Texan i was thrilled you used a Peachtree Tearoom Recipe. Ive had the good fortune to dine there and had the wonderful Peach desserts. Great German cookery in the area settled there in very early Texas History.❤

That's what I have, 9 gardens! It's just impossible to keep all of them looking good at once, even if one is young... and I am not.

Borage is a great plant for a blue garden and the flowers are edible and hummingbirds love them and they reseed easily.
I've got a packet of the seed, haven't planted it yet..

What a fun video. I loved seeing the peacock tail sneaking by on your prepared bed. I love the idea of an English garden that you’d see around a thatched cottage with mounds of all kinds of flowers spaced so there’s always something for cutting. Good luck with your blue garden. A delicious lunch!

Good work! I have several gardens but my neighbor and I share a veg and herb garden between our two houses. We share the watering, care and harvest and it works out so well.

I have white love in a mist in a south facing border here in western Oregon. It was here when we moved into this house 5 years ago. I didn't know what it was. I love the look, with the pointy leaves that grow to the back of the flower. The seed pods are wonderful. They come back every year.

As a Native Texan i was thrilled you used a Peachtree Tearoom Recipe. Ive had the good fortune to dine there and had the wonderful Peach desserts. Great German cookery in the area settled there in very early Texas History.❤

Your chickies are so cute. All the food looks delicious! My husband grows cosmos every year, a leggy beauty. Ours are pinks and white. We are in town, to my heartache, but blessed to have some patches to grow flowers and veg.

My mixer is probably from the 1930's, still works pretty good.
