I can completely understand some frustration with all of the 2.0 figures, but to my perspective Magic Square has really stepped up thier game. Excited to see some Autobot combiners. Great video keep em coming
Oh yeah I completely agree. It's more of the repaint of recent figures they released. I really like MS Ironhide so it sucks that if I waited a year later I could have gotten a better painted one lol
One thing I am REALLY hoping for is cybertronian modes of characters like bumblebee, jazz, wheeljack and starscream (plus seekers of course) but sadly I think that if this ever does happen it will be after they have made every character from the G1 cartoon 😢
That would be awesome to see! I would be down to get either Seige style cybertronian modes or something like the OG cybertronian modes such as what Hasbro is doing in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line

I am actually happy for 2.0 ex/a etc versions. For 1 the old molds are often out of stock or very expensive on the 2nd hand market, so its a chance to catch up. For 2 making improvements in products is the only way to go. Samsung/apple/sony etc issue new models all the time. Noone forces anyone to buy it, noone also says they should have stopped at iphone3/ps2 etc 😊
Very good points! I definitely agree it's helpful for those who might be new to collecting legend scale figure or if you just missed a figure in the past.

Warpath and Seaspray are the two I really need Newage to make.
I was just going over my Legends shelves today and said "huh, nobody's done a Sunstreaker yet." Nobody as in MS/NA. And on that note, NewAge hasn't done a Sideswipe or Red Alert etc. either... so you know they're going to milk these repaints when they do. The 2.0 thing I don't mind so much if there is a big upgrade in likeness or posability... but I am bothered by the "oh, this one's thighs are silver!"
I hope that both Newage and MS eventually release both Lambo brothers. But I agree that if a 2.0 has major changes/improvements it is nice. I also agree about releasing a figure with just a tiny paint difference lol
i started collecting a year and half ago, went from mainline hasbro to core class, to 3rd part newage lol
As an OG transformers fan. I really appreciate all the different 3rd party companies producing all the g1 characters I watched as a kid. This might be an already asked question, but can you do a video breaking down all the different classes & sizes among 3rd party and even the Hasbro and TT classes and sizes (for example when you are referring to leader class, legends scale, or mainline...etc). It's kind of confusing. It would be greatly appreciated!
I haven't made a video on that yet, but I'll see what I can do for the future 🙂👍

Luke, I hope you are doing well, staying safe, and always thinking forward. You touched a little on something that I know 100% NA, and MS will do which is new engineering when it comes to older figures that have exposed ball joints like in the arms of the Datsun Brothers for example or a lot of pins that are exposed. Or like MS redoing there Blaster which is so undersized and more tapes for him, or their Seekers which really does not compare to Newage's.
Hey I appreciate it man! I'm almost out of my situation so hopefully I will be better than ever soon enough. I also agree that for both MS and NA they should redo some of their older figures to properly fit in with both scale and looks.
What about the technobots? They haven’t been made
I know we don't have a legend scale Technobot team yet. I was just mentioning a few examples off the top of my head lol. I hope we do eventually get a team!

I bought 22 Legends my first year just catching up then slowed down and got selective on new figures. I think that's why they will always bring in 2.0/repaint/rerelease. New collectors drop the most money so they need an available backlogs. Also how do we not have a Hotrod yet!
That's very true. Also I agree we need a hotrod from Newage and/or Magic Square!
