- Finally my new home is done!
Today I cooked for Crispy Pata and grilled some vegetables and invited my family to eat dinner inside the kubo. We ate the pata with rice and some sweet pineapples. We laughed together and we enjoyed every single minute together.

indigenous peoples of the Cordillera.
The project was also funded by GrainCorp Limited and supported by the Ub Ubbo
Project, the Australian Embassy, the Sagadan Mayor, Robert Pangod and office of the Mayor and the good people of the Municipality of Sagada (Igu), and Dakila -- Philippine Collective for Heroism.

@@viceganda2493 Hindi ko alam kung ano ako, pero gusto ko itong buhay, meron lupa sa Ilocos pero maliit lang at parang siksikan lang ako, mahal ngayon ang lupa sa Ilocos po, so bumili ako sa Visaya sa Bohol, I would love to have this kind of buhay, mag pa tayo ng kawayan house at lutuan, kelan kaya mangyari ito, but looking forward to it 💙🌺. As I’ve observed marami po tao sa Visaya hindi sila inspired mag buhay ng ganito. Wala ako nakita nga incentive to plant gulay so hindi na kailangan bumili at walang incentive sila mag work, contento sila sa pagkain nga mahingi sa familia at mag anak ng marami, I don’t understand why, kc ung mga bata nag suffer sa lack of resources nga hindi nila man lang e effort to acquire…so sad.

I lived in a place like this for a week or so in the Philippines. People in the countryside sleep very early around 5-6pm, then wake up at 3-4am.

I miss my friend na laging sinasama ako pag uuwi sa bukid ng Friday then babalik kami ng sunday sa syudad na may mga bitbit na gulay at itlog na native at saging at marami pang iba,susunduin kmi sa bungad ng tatay niya tapos ihahatid kmi ulit na nakasakay sa karitela or minsan maglalakad sa pilapil or tambak bitbit namin ang aming chinelas .oh my god the best memories nun bata pa ako. walang kuryente lampara lng gamit sa gabi..

I've been invited by a ranch farmer in NV and it was the most amazing burgers I've had in my life. It tasted so juicy and clean. One day I want to have a small ranch myself either here in the US or my family's home country the Philippines.

Lol we have horses in the Philippines... its just too expensive to maintain and feed... but carabao as we call them, are TOUGH, hardworking but easier to maintain!

Yup...and then your joint pains start to reminding you that you are old-that you need hospitalization and the ease and accessibility of necessities in the city and civilized world...And you have made bonds with people (a spouse, children, friends, etc) who have been used to the life in the city...You wake up from your nap and realized everything has changed...Going back to the simple life in the Philippine countryside remains just that-A WISHFUL THOUGHT!
