Horses are VERY LOVED AND CARED FOR IN MONGOIA!!! THE MAN IN THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO IS NON OTHER THEN MR. DASHKA he's the WONDERFUL MAN WHO CREATED THE HU!! The bottle he had in his hand had tobacco snuff in it, and yes he was remembering the time when he was a boy. There is an English lyric video to this song.

Wonderful reaction! From what I've heard, this is a brief depiction of a battle from the 17th century between Qing Dynasty, China and a faction of the Mongols (someone more knowing can correct me). The sets and costumes are from a Mongolian tv show. Cant wait for part two!
Qin Dynasty wasnt China but Manchu. It is very different kind of tribe from China. 😊
Time frame is very late 17th century. The First Qing War was primarily between Mongol leader Galdan Boshugtu Khan and Qing Leader Kangxi. Galdan Khan died in 1697. General Danjila, the subject of the video, survived him so this has to be after 1697. I have no idea of the year Danjila died. I've found no information on that. Much more info on Galdan than on Danjila.

I really like them. Have you checked out their song The Wolf Totom featuring Papa Roach. Their throat singing adds an ancient, ancestral feeling to it almost. It is epic! Your insights are always spot on which I always learn something from

I love how a band from Mongolia can make a 3-7 minute video that is more epic, interesting, and leave a viewer wanting more than so many "epic movie studios" try to create in their whole movie universe

I love the feeling you get from The HU. It reminds me of Fauns music, though their music is more Celtic in style

They originally wrote this song for the game Fallen Order Ost to find the right melody, tested it during live concerts, then changed the lyrics to an imaginary alien language, which gave us Sugaan Essena. And now they release the original song in real world Mongolian language.

Listening to The HU makes me proud to be a true mongolian, which is weird, cuz I'm white.
Mongolia conquered a good portion of Europe as well as Asia so there is a chance that many people have a small percentage of Mongolian heritage.

The plot is kinda simple, China stay out of Mongolia.
If you like folk metal you should definately watch/listen 'Heidevolk-- A wolf in my heart'. It has a fantastic samanic imagery of a wolf and human soul bound together.
They added captions with the lyrics in English if you turn on the closed captions you can get the lyrics in English for what they are singing
