Godzilla Premium Pinball Machine Building Fix with Playfield Jacks

  • Our Godzilla Premium from Stern was not registering locked shots to the building and would trigger a ball search, which would also lead to drains straight down the middle.
Using Playfield Jacks to make the playfield easily accessible, we fixed the issue with some washers which we picked up at our local hardware store. We added some washers to the back of the building mech so that shots to the building would register correctly and trigger the VUK to launch them to the top of the building.
We put 2 on each side on the top set of screws and 1 on each side of the middle set of screws.
And a big shout out goes to Kevin from Performance Pinball for supplying us with a set of Playfield Jacks, which made working on the playfield super easy and saved us a bunch of time.

Ours has an issue similiar to that. The VUK has to try and kick it up and out a few times unless you shimmy the machine a little bit. You can see the ball come up but doesnt come out the top to the roof everytime. Was that the issue you were having? I couldnt find anything on Pinside stating the same problem. Thanks for the video..*Subscribed*

Yes, the ball was getting "stuck" at the bottom of the building before going into the VUK. The washers helped "funnel" the ball into the VUK, so that it would shoot up onto the top of the building.

What size washers did you use?

@@johncampbell8224 honestly, not sure on the exact size, I just went to the local hardware store and picked up a handful of different sizes and then chose which ones I thought would work best.
