This is some great info, Jay! I‘ve recently been experimenting with Pantheon decks (bought the Trip and the Pranayama), but my Globe Bannerstone (top mount, drop down) still manages to provide a good riding experience. While the wheelbase is pretty long at 41“/105cm , especially for a 5‘6“/167cm guy like me, the stability it affords me is awesome. Even my Pantheon Trip with the 50°/43° truck angle customization doesn‘t necessarily feel more stable. The board is decently flexy at my weight, but might have a bit too much give for riders over 150lbs/70 kg. And even though it originally shipped with 70mm wheels, upgrading it with a pair of Caguamas has caused no issues with wheelbite in the turns. Hell, even the alignment of the upgraded wheels with the rails isn‘t terrible. lol

Glad you were able to find a good setup for yourself
stiff top mount or micro drop, large cutouts for big wheels with indys is quite a bit of fun.

No I didn't because most people can't afford a full bracket setup so I go with "traditional" setups and because it's also what I ride.
