I know how it feels like my lower leg got really badly damaged on a up lift so i hope its under warranty cos i have zeb select + and it feels like a lyrik
Can you review the cascade components link? I have been going back and forth on a standard cascade link and oe link on my 22 Levo. I finally got the x2 acceptable and I prefer the cascade link. It seems like I’m using less stroke on g outs etc, but I’m actually using a tad more stroke than oe. Even upping 55 psi
Hey Brother, I am 295 lbs fully kitted up on a 2022 Norco Sight VLT. I am about to change out my worn double down tires with cushcore installed. My question is do I still need cushcore if I run down hill casing tires? Love the channel👊🏻😎
@@OtterMTBtech It is actually the Storia Lok V3-S. The S indicates it is an OEM edition shock. It is essentially right in between the standard V3 and e-Storia. It is fixed at is what the middle of the settings on the e-Storia.
I have been riding TTX2 and now on 11.6 and can tell you that Ohlins is a mainstream shock that gives you alot of feedback, not that it doesn't work correctly but you can feel which part of the stroke you are using and when you are pushing the backend to near limit. The 11.6 on the other hand is a ghost underneath you, you just can't tell what is going on, only the changes to the bike geometry when you go deeper into travel can be used as reference. On the 11.6 you can add 4-5 clicks of low speed compression to give it more pop of the lips, it sacrifices traction but adds more air-shock feeleing
I think pop is also an effect of suspension layout of the bike and not to pick on your reviews, you have tested two different bikes. my evil with 11-6 had all the pop i would want. Yetis are know for being race horses, not very playful. anyway great vid. but beware. Vorsprung Telum is dropping soon
Your right. The push has an alloy stanchion and I could not swap it into my bike. But 57lb 180 mm travel ebike with 29er wheels is more poppy tells me the push is more stuck to the ground than a 30 lb Yeti
@@OtterMTBtech “Heavy damping is the same as over damping” “Over dampened, the damper will prevent the spring from doing its job correctly. It will prevent the spring from bounding or rebounding. This can lead to “jacking down” the car over bumpy terrain, as each compression of the spring isn’t allowed to rebound enough before the next compression, until you’re riding on the bump stops”
Mind Melting content just keeps coming. How does the Otter do it? No one will ever know
The absence of kids might be for something 😂
😂
You should do a video on a ohlins suspension
100000%
It’s coming just expensive

You are seriously ramping up. Thank you. Glad you corrected me about the 11.6 hbo
Took a while to dig that one out
When is the Intend Hover Air Opt review coming?
Probably not to honest expensive and rare
Cane creek tigon next!! You pretty much tried them all already. Great job!!
Ha soon
IMO you should have run the shocks on the same bike. Infinity link on the yeti will always have that ground hugging feel.
Tell push to stop making alloy stanchions, but your right

Feels soft at the top of the travel and ramps more seamlessly
@@nathantoney.1501 I have that video coming soon
Please compare a Vorsprung Telum once available too!
looks interesting
It will not be cheap
DAMN that was fast. Fair play and thank you.
It should have been longer

Cheers, I hate cushcore absolute nightmare to install DH casing Assegai front and rear, 33 psi if it is rocky. 28 if dirt
Techicaly it's Storia Lok V3 not e-Storia version.
Same internals, missing hbo

@@mixmastamikal I'm getting Storia V4 for my self btw, it being shim-built for me.
@@DakicSlobodan You are going to be very happy. It is an amazing shock. I have been loving mine.
love your videos bro
Thanks
Can u do a video on ext setup?

Otter the 👑 of suspension set-up!!!!
Try to
I just love the DNM shock. I dont know why would buy an expensive shock. I did have to buy a lighter spring for 155lbs guy like me
They don’t make them in modern sizes
Make that three 11.6, Storia V4 and Telum.
Try the ohlins TTX22

How’s the small bump on ttx and what bike ?

You need to try the new push sv 8
Possible
Let’s see SV8 vs Vivid Coil !
Vivid coil yes hopefully sv8
EXT gives you a little 3d printed tool to adjust it on trail. EXT is light years better than push in all measureables IMO
My stuff is used
Heavily damped does not mean it soaks up rock gardens. Very confused on that
It does actually

@@loganjacobson2335 Thanks for your feedback, can you explain to me how the Push 11-6 allows me to run a 70lbs lighter spring than normal?
