I could tell that final X-Scissor wasn't going to KO, I was REALLY hoping the Azu punished him for it lol.

You were sick and are an inspiration cause Im trying to get legend my first time too, but am having a hard time crossing the 2300 elo range.
Do you have ant tips, as well as, will your team lead work with normal mawile?
@itsSabbirHossain I think this team is built better around the shadow, as the normal won't put enough pressure onto bulkier things like jellicent and runerigus. I built it with bat and charja because both are really good swaps that counter mawiles weaknesses like pex, ninja and other poisons. I briefly ran greninja instead of bug but you get more weaknesses to pex, bug, and other ninjas. Trust me, I know how it feels to be stuck in a certain range, but with some quick thinking and helpful sources you'll get out of there in no time ❤️
Congrats man, that's a great accomplishment! I just made veteran, really have had some nice success with Halloween Cup as well.

Tried this team today, did really well, but found non shadow mawile to be even better. As the only Carbink answer it sucks to be farmed down
That’s me in the 3rd battle! Very tough match that had me go 2 - 3 in the last battle of the set at the gates of Legend. That lost CMP at the end was tough. Great battle though!
That is a rough way to go I hate losing cmp when you play perfect and build up the back to back just to not be able to make the second

Good replacement for Mawhile? Don’t have one built up, but love Golbat+Charjabug core
You’ll have to be more careful with these matchups since they don’t work the same as S-Mawile, but Togetic and Azu are decent replacements

How do you hit ace rank? Also, why are people running golbat instead of acrobat?
Just by doing your battles you'll get there, going up more after you reach Ace is a bit more hard cus meta shifts, counting, good timing, team cores, etc.
Cus Golbat is a bit more tanky and better moves fyi.
Why dont people use the electric pokemon fully evolved? why do they keep it at the middle form and why not use crobat?
I know this is a 2 month comment butt I wanna put in my 2 cents on why that is.
That because Chargabug is a lot more tanky then Vikavolt, Vik beecomes more attack wights and becomes more of a glassconnon.
For Golbat similar, Golbat has better moves and is a bit more tanky, Crobat gets Air Slash which is a bad fast move.
I hope that explains a bit on why ppl use thos mons. 😊

Great gameplay. If I ran this team, the algorithm would throw greninja lead carbink close teams at me all day long
You have to play it also on easy mode. If you choose advanced, the algorithm is waiting for ya 😊

That’s weird because I usually get a good set and then a bad set and it sort of rotates
My advice is if you’re getting hard countered don’t necessarily worry about chasing leads but really focus on finding a safe swap that can at the very least get you shield advantage consistently, you aren’t gonna always win leads ever. But if you keep track of the common cores you see and what a lot of pokemon may have a hard time dealing with that should help start the team building process
An example in the halloween meta is shadow scizor as a safe swap with bullet punch night slash and x scissor. Not many fire types around and resists a lot of the common poison fairy dragon thats around

Fix the game niantic, it's being non-stop lag fast for f a year now.
I think I’m done with PvP until they do something about algorithms. It’s so stupid that I go 5-0 on a set, then the next 5 games the teams I go against are literally the counter to each pokemon I have. Like so obvious it could be seen as cheating
this team is hot garbage if you dont win a lead and there is something that beats easy golbat like carbink you cant literally win ever. Literally you cant win against anyone starting with ghost ground pokemon, poison ground he was incredibly lucky to meet teams like that.
I ran into issues like that, if mawile went down to something like ghost leads (cofa, rune) or it took too much damage catbink swept my line

@@Womp_Womp_Cry_abt_it Love the name, and I chose ice beam to have a little faster pacing and deal with ground and dragalge. Play rough would have won me a few games that I lost, but losing ice beam would do about the same.
