Very nice color, and unique camera movements. Great work! APS-C and 60P may the best solution for S5 's AF, but still, have some focus blink issues that can be discovered in the background. For slow-motion, 80% to 90% reliable. I ordered this lens too, very looking forward to having it!

The way I see it is you can definitely have the option for the full frame 4K 4:2:2 10 bit, but in other times, you can also have all that with 60 FPS but with a better autofocus in the same camera but cropped. I think it’s a good deal. We don’t have anything like that so far at $1700.

Looks amazing. What this test tells me is that moving bokeh at 85mm is too much bokeh. It's border line sea sickness. The fact that it can focus while the background looks like a cartoon tells me the AF has reached a satisfactory level.
yes the AF has a satisfactory level now. I think that 85mm on gimbal may be unsuitable in some situations, but I had to test the new AF with this lens ;-)

(Not referring to gimble) When ever I pan left to right, the footage always looks juddery almost as if it is skipping. you seem to not have that issue, any tips? thank you :) also when you use gimble, do you leave stabilization on? i film in 24fps 50 shutter speed IBS / image stabilization on
Hi, I always shoot 50p, sometimes 100fps, and edit in timeline 25p. Stabilizzation on when I use gimbal, but only sensor stabilizzation, I never use digital stabilizzation.
Thats not a pan. Thats a parallax. Panning definitely looks jittery on any camera without a global shutter, but a parallax is easy to pull off with Lumix cameras. Its my go-to move.
@@dj-7154 I would imagine it was a shutter speed of 1/100 if he was shooting at 50fps. That would be a 180 degree shutter angle. Always shoot with your shutter speed at double your frame rate. It's called the 180 degree rule.

L'uso che ne farei sarebbe orientato sul documentario, documentario sociale, cinema del reale. Se riesco a farmi comprendere. Attualmente la s1 costa pochissimo in più per via di una promozione ed essendo un neofita faccio fatica ad orientarmi su tutto. Ho capito che la batteria è più piccola nella s5, non ha hdmi pieno, ho capito che costruttivamente è inferiore, è più piccola e leggera e ha lo schermo che si orienta meglio seppur di minor fattezza. Non riesco a decidere cos'abbia più senso prendere per me tra le due. Se hai modo di aiutarmi ti ringrazio
Ciao Federico, vista l'offerta del momento ti direi di orientarti sulla S1 perchè hanno un prezzo molto simile ancora per qualche giorno. Corpo più robusto, miglior monitor e finder (molto importanti entrambi se non si usano monitor esterni). Hdmi grande, batteria di lunga durata, registrazione illimitata e col prossimo aggiornamento anche 6k, raw su hdmi e modalità anamorfica. Se invece preferisci un corpo più leggero di 300grammi e non dai peso ad un monitor/finder vai pure di S5 che è molto valida lo stesso!

That CineD2 might not be so bad after all, or it’s the lut you’re using that makes it look good. I found that the originalCineD on G80/GH5 has terrible colours and skintones

Grazie. Sinceramente la lumix s5 è superiore alla a7iii in tutte le sue caratteristiche, fa slow fino a 180fps, 4k 50p, 10 bit 422, farà il 6k raw tramite hdmi al prossimo aggiornamento, quindi tanta roba in più. E poi skin tone e colori lumix che io preferisco di gran lunga!

mentre con l'ultimo firmware hanno lo stesso AF (con lenti lumix).
