The fact the Celtics have both Jrue Holiday and Derrick White in their backcourt is incredible, 2 legit DPOY candidates in one backcourt. Then you got the forwards Brown and Tatum two of the best two way players in the game, and then the 7'3 mountain Porzingis at Center protecting the rim, there's no wonder why they are so good defensively.
I like how all the black players are respected as two-way players, but the only white guy in the lineup is just tall and that’s why he’s defending so well 🙄 😂
@@purpleperc1012 WTF t u talkin about, Porzingis is a really good defender, yes a huge part of that is cuz he's 7'3, but he's very athletic and very skilled for his height so yes that makes him a really good defender.
I am cutting every financial corner right now... but I hope to someday join your Patreon, because your defensive highlights packages were my favorites back when they were free. Great work, as always...
Individual skill to defend is one thing, when all 5 players are playing with active hands and providing necessary help it’s tough for even the best teams to execute. I felt this was the closest playoff lineup they’ll be running with. Defensively it was suffocating and you’ll note Tatum started in the 4th quarter when he normally rests and played around 43 minutes. All in all it’s a tough rotation to find any cracks for the opposition.
Also shout out to Pritchard for really defending at a high level and not fouling like he usually does. Sam has been solid all year. All I will say to improve this lineup is the attention to detail with boxing out and rebounding, we gave up way too many opportunities for 2nd chance points.
i was concerned coming into the season about porzingis’ ability to hold up against the more physical teams in the league but he’s honestly the perfect rim protector behind these guys. crazy to think that such a great defensive team is just as good if not better on the offensive end. go c’s
You were concerned because you seen him play your team like twice and had no other information on him due to regency bias. Hard to scout a guy based of what chair analysts have to say.
Is it just me or does Jrue look better/quicker/more agile defensively lately? All season up to a few weeks ago, I was so frustrated that they kept asking Jrue to guard fast/shifty small guards and continuously getting burnt by guys like SGA, Trae Young, etc. He's not entirely locking them up here but he seems to move a lot more fluidly and his footwork seems much better to beat those guys to their spots and not constantly chasing behind them.
So glad that Hauser is not a massive defensive liability anymore. They still hunt him now because he's probably the worse on this team, but quickly realized that the worse on this team is still better than average

Hi
There are some problem with your video. Which i guessed.
Thanks for this particular freebie and your work in general

Yup they got no defensive weaknesses

That is an excellent way to get patrons lol love this
Thanks Timi for this
can we talk abt how jrue has been a defensive menace and lights out 3 point shooter. swear he hasn't missed a corner 3 in weeks
Remember when jrue was missing easy layups and some Celtics fans wanted him out 🤣
@@purpleperc1012that’s just the Jrue experience 😂😂
I see a lot of Tatum & Jrue lmao that’s music to my ears
🔥🔥🔥 i miss these vids
you can get access to them again for just $2 per month 🥹
I may be in the extreme minority. But I enjoy watching defense more than I like watching offense
You must hate most NBA games 😂
Same here, man. Give me a defensive battle over traded threes any day.
Love this, now when I miss a game I can watch the highlights on your channel + NBA main channel.

Timi 🐐!!!
ahh the Jrue Holiday highlight
He’s barely in this video 😂
Thank you Timi for the bonus footage. You are appreciated 👏
thanks
Hauser is so underrated on defense to
He always stays in front
You really want to bring back that meme huh 😂

They should use this video to show young teams how to play defense because this was some elite defense the Celtics displayed last night 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏾☘️☘️☘️☘️
holiday is unreal
Their defensive Chemistry really have clicked now. This will be great in the playoffs 🔥
Good marketing idea

He was never a liability on defense lol he was always solid
Just too damn good ☘️
Beside Jrue and Porzingis, this year we have Sam in our bench. As player Sam is a very good defender
I need to see Tillman with this group Luke been ok but he’s nothing compared to Tillman defensively plus he can pass and set great screens
Boston's defense turned them into iso players. That is bad news as Boston has some of the best individual defenders in the league.
If holiday and Derrick white is guarding you good luck
Every time Jayson Tatum gets put on JB has not scored a single point
Knicks fans on another level of delusion 😂
If being addicted to this is a sin I'm ready to cook

80s and 90s ymca defense have nothijg on this😂.
