    Handy tip for you. When you were talking about not being able to get your scissors into the corners to push them out.... I keep a long wooden chopstick at my sewing station. It is a great tool for being able to reach in to push out those corners. Gives you more reach and without a sharp end like scissors that could poke through the seams, which I have done before. I don't remember where I got the chopsticks, but they are nothing fancy, inexpensive. Maybe dollar tree or something.

    Do you have a video on how to make that bow? I like your harness. The only thing I would change is to put a batting in the center to make it thicker.

    I made a quilted harness last winter for my 6 pound yorkie. I'm going to try a spring style this year using your instructions. Thanks so much for sharing!

    Since I've discovered your posts I watch and follow them constantly. Not only do you make your instructions so easy to follow but you make it enjoyable too. I love your simplicity and end beauty instructions and final project. You've help make what I thought impossible, possible on a fraction of the time. I can do so much with this bodice pattern. THANK YOU and your adorable Miss Posey.

    Thank you for generously sharing your pattern making and sewing instructions. Please share your source for the "sew-on" Velcro squares you use. I am unable to source connectors wider than 3/4 inch. TY. -K

    Thank you so much for the tutorial! I’m just wondering if Velcro is safe enough for dogs that pulls a lot on the leash, or is there an alternative?

    Just wondering why you don't iron your fabric ? and also how come you dont use an iron on stabilizer to make it stronger?

    Fantastic. My dogs are 3lbs.. im having a hard time finding harnesses for them. Its almost impossible. I think this is going to be my only option. I feel so bad putting a collar on them as they choke themselves.

      You can use other animal harnesses, such as ferret, or guinea pig, or another small animal. My dog is two pounds and could even use a rat harness.

    If your dog lunges or pulls, is the Velcro strong enough not to come open?

    • @LifeOfPosey
      @LifeOfPosey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello! I have not had any problems with this harness coming undone and Posey pulls quite a bit. However, if you have a larger dog it might be a good idea to use a different type of closure such as snaps or buckles.

    Lovely, thank you. My Ponchi wiggles out of her store-bought harness. Can your's be wiggled out of. Lova weighs 12 pounds. (tTt)

    • @LifeOfPosey

      The great thing about sewing your own dog harness is that it is custom-made for your dogs exact measurements. This will help illuminate the wiggling out of the Harness struggle! However, to be on the safe side I would suggest using snap closures or side release buckles. Thanks for watching!

    My female dog has a bald belly. I want to make a cute harness that will cover the lower part of her belly too. I tried shirring the strip pulling the thread like you said and my thread broke. I have cheap thread.

    is it sturdy enough to not rip when u pull your dog back?

    • @LifeOfPosey
      @LifeOfPosey  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My dog tugs quite a bit when I walk her and it has been plenty sturdy. However, if you feel you need more strength you could attach buttons or snaps instead or some kind of buckle. Thanks for watching!
