This unit is a victim of dokkan trying to fix something that isn’t broken. They perfected the transformation active skill condition with the 7 year lrs and they completely ignored that going forward. I’m tired of transformation units with how horrible their active skill conditions are 90% of the time. This vegito blue would’ve been the undisputed best unit in the game on release if he was just vegito blue turn 1.

They weren't trying to fix anything. Anniversary cards are on different design standards than any other cards. They pick and choose who they want to have what transformation conditions. That's why PHY Angel Frieza has none

I would agree with you on them holding anniversary units to a different standard, but that “from the start of turn” condition was put on two anniversary units already. I hope that they don’t try that for the world wide units this year or the tenth anniversary units.

2) They made Base blue goku and vegeta so fucking MID. HELL, EVEN ON RELEASE, THEY WERE GETTING TORCHED.
3) ONLY THING THAT HE HAS OF VALUE IS HIS LEADER SKILL, AND YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO BRING 2 OF THEM.
Only thing I love about this unit is the Intro OST. And That's about it.

If you just bring a unit like leasthan, he can get hit hard and transform the moment he loses the guard. Or yknow, base has fallen off so hard you'll transform anyway.

The only reason why this unit is acceptable on release is because they literally design an entire meta (the most repetitive and annoying Red Zone) for this unit specifically.
Mid animation most of the time, low stat, dumb condition, it's the whole annoying package. I don't see anyone else besides Vegito fan trying to cope for this unit, they're just not good and not fun
So needlessly restricted and clunky for absolutely no reason. Nowhere near the top 5 even on release in their catered meta.

This unit really betrayed me so many times in that stage. They literally do not dodge and they take too much damage from normals. They should have given them a 70% dodge with 5 turns guard. I loved this unit, but now I am growing to hate it

Every time I see that awesome Vegito fusion animation it makes me sad just how wonky and stupidly designed the base form is. The active skill attack is one of the best in the game too, and you barely ever get to see it.
The active should've been turn 3 under 70% or just turn 5 and you can transform

Honestly, this is just a community question: Where would you guys rank LR AGL Vegito Blue if he had the 7th Anni. LR Gods’s Active Skill Conditions? (Both corresponding Active Skill conditions)
I’ve used LR AGL Vegito Blue on my Kid Buu runs, and him being the only one to go into Slot One by dodging the INT Kid Buu’s Super Attack, and neutering Kid Buu’s SA whilst buffing LR STR Super Vegito’s DEF enough with his 18 Ki to just barely survive a second death-dealing SA saved me a winning run TWICE! In Truth’s video, Beast didn’t have his Intro up and still took 335k DMG, despite the SA likely dealing 600k+, and shaving off hundreds of thousands of Damage is due to AGL VB’s support! Hell, my VB has hit 11 million ATK stats before and with 5 Super Attacks, cooked Kid Buu’s HP and littered him with debuffs that even a non-Slot One LR INT VT can double digit tank Buu’s normals. VB still has great utility from both this run, and personal experience… BUT THE POTARA FUSION CONDITIONS.
Personally for me, I’ve stopped using their Leader Skill and double-floated them whenever I can to ensure a Potara Fusion in Vegito Blue with another Future Saga ally on rotation by their 7th Turn, and if I can’t, then I’ll try to predict how much HP I’d lose but even that’s just uncertain…
As for the question I proposed, I’d say LR AGL Vegito Blue would be at least be a Top 15 unit if his Active Skill conditions were the same as the LR Gods’s, and I can see him pushing spots off of the Top 10 like LR STR Super Vegito, LR TEQ Orange Piccolo, and up to, at most, the LR INT Gammas (So like #6-#7). He’d certainly be the best WWC 2023 LR if that was the case, but it sucks that LR TEQ CMZ and LR AGL VB were shafted with these conditions. At least Corrupted Merged Zamasu has a guarantee save with the Domain Update but unless they (and I hope), retroactively buff characters like with PHY Rosé Goku Black, it looks like things unfortunately will stay this way. AGL Vegito Blue is just such a fire and badass unit with three BANGER OST’s, two of best Active Skill animations in the game, and probably the most creative Super Attack in the game, and I will defend him from the tons of unnecessary slander he gets, but I do have to acknowledge that his release could’ve been far better, potentially being the Best LR at the time, and it could’ve been fixed into that world by just changing just a simple few words.
To be completely honest, vegito himself isn’t too impressive now. Even on release his performance was just good. The condition being good would make him like top 20, maybe.

Vegito Blue always fails because both he is not strong enough to tank him eventually and since his atk debuffs is something the team relies on, he will consistently not pull it off. And if he needs to dodge he won't. He'll take the damage needed so that Kid Buu can finish off the rest of the team at a later point. I've done this many times. As I've always said this game's RNG is rigged in favor of the strong.

Yah in my friend list nobody puts dodge on the blue vegito AGL LR even though they are rainbow. The ones with no rainbow has dodge in them and i use them and help me beat some events. I am noticing to lot of people are putting high def on their units like if a character already has good high def's why increase it. For me i always put in kits that the unit lacks. If my unit does suck on def's i put dodge and if i get lucky i will put on high def's but only if the unit doesn't need it.

Yeah Beast didn’t have his active but that’s exactly the point. His active is what makes him #1. Nobody argues he’s #1 but I don’t consider him gapping ssbe. The rest of the game ? Sure.
Gotta keep in mind that Vegito debuffs attack on each of his 12 Ki Supers. Plus, he gives a 50% defensive buff to all allies on his 18 Ki. Beast taking 300,000 is good, but Kid Buu is undeniably the most obnoxious boss in the game to even do that much damage.

Plus don't forget that their passive gives them a bit of attack and defence with a realm of god enemy. Sure atk doesn't really matter considering he hits weak but the defence is useful.

This is revisionist history that rambles on about and goes against lets not pretend that AGL VB wasn't dominant in the Omega Shenron and the Fusion Zamasu fight the two hardest fights in the game yes AGL VB has declined but lets not act like when he released they were dogshit and struggling in there meta
They were outside the top 5 and bordering on top 10 in their own meta. As you said, events were CATERED for them yet they still struggled due to asinine conditions and clunkiness in their kit.

@@donzo2320 Did you actually play the game? Bulma, Future Gohan, GT Duo, Zamasu and Orange Piccolo were objectively better than them. They were MAYBE in the top 5 for a solid week and a half before Gohan’s release.
Again, in THEIR OWN META they weren’t even a top 5 unit. This accompanied by their clunky design and needless restrictions has made them probably the most frustratingly undertuned unit of all time
