He was amazing and fantastic in his first audition just as he is right now, i wonder why he doesnt get through to the live shows when he is better than alot of those who went through.

What they don’t show u is the preparation to this trick. When the magician “makes sure her phone is working properly” or whatever while he downloads his very quick hidden app. Someone else controls it remotely.
And how does that explain him choosing the name he wrote on his hand?

@@spyda1221 Well, if he really did a little tweaking on the phone, he surely has seen Alesha's contact list and he can just try to deduce which one of them would be the most likely for Alesha to choose.
You know what's easier? She told him the name of the person she'd text, and she sent that text.
So, idk what the laws are like in the uk.
But spoilers, he straight up had someone in the next room hack her phone.
Wonder if he went through her pictures? Or private contacts?
I hate when people give hacks like this praise.
Logically that is the only way he could do this trick without it being 100% scripted.

It’s not hacking. It’s an ap he downloaded on her phone. Magicians do this all the time when they “take a picture together” or something. It’s just an overlay app. Hacking would take wayyyy too long.
@@spyda1221 that could be a possibility, though i dont see a point in this clip where he would have had a chance, regardless if its an app or not, the playstore/apple app store both have terms and conditions saying if your not the owner its not allowed without permission to download anything.
Plus it would still be 100% illegal here in the us without direct permission from alicia, wich brigs me to the original point, the laws in the uk.

dereknaut so after watching the extended cut, I can pretty much confirm what I said was what he did. What you don’t know is that he was with her for almost the entire day before the trick was recorded and aired. The app is owned by him, purchased, and downloaded from the App Store. There is nothing illegal going on. No files were stolen, no privacy was invaded. The app is simply a template. She says who, it gets typed in, she says what, it gets typed in. There’s no number attached, just the name. ...I mean isn’t mind reading more of an invasion of privacy? Lol
