Classic comedy. Bygone days of comedians who worked hard and long to get stardom instead of today's efforts of 5 minute fame. Thank you Eric and Ernie for the laughs what you wrote and gave us. 😊❤😏
I wasn't born till the late eighties but i love old comedy thanks to my parents watching this sort of stuff when I was a kid, and half way through this sketch i realised the actress Juliet Mills was in Carry On Jack!
I always loved the 'plays' wot ernie wrote. The play starring Glenda Jackson as Cleopatra was one of my top favourites, "All men are fools, and what makes them so is having beauty like what I have got!." Thank you for posting. :)
Incredible, i sat and cried with laughter at this, timeless and genuinely funny, not like the bullshit around now in 2018...comedy is dead now..thank you so much for posting this CannedCarrot.
Absolutely classic Brit comedy. It would be interesting to know how much was scripted and how much ad libbed. Juliet Mills' crack ups are priceless and full credit to her for going with the craziness.
I think this is from 1974. My God I'm 64 now and 20 years old then. I had just graduated High School. This is outrageously funny, I can't believe I missed it in its day.
Just watching this and of course cracking up at Eric's jokes (hard not too he always has me in hysterics with his comedy and antics) but I just thought how much Juliet Mills would be a great double for Samantha out of Bewitched (Elizabeth montgomery) juliet is very much like Elizabeth in looks....what do you guys think?...just wondered....lol... or may be its just me that thinks she looks like Elizabeth Montgomery lol.... have a great day, stay safe and well everyone :) magz :)
No cruelty, no swearing just three real professionals having so much fun. Gentle and funny humour. Gone forever.
Oh, stop whining

Factually incorrect and painfully snobbish
I could watch this over and over again Juliet Mills cracking up always makes me smile.
Juliet Mills is so dear - her easy laughter is infectious!
And she's gorgeous, to boot.

You were raised correctly.

Ahhh reminds me of those hot summer nights in Sydney. Relief only came by drinking most of an ice cold slab of beer. No tiffin for us.
Juliet Mills...what a beauty...what a hugely talented beauty...
So hilarious and may those real funny men R.I.P.
Harikasın güzel kadın ❤️ Juliet ❤

Once Eric had her going, he probably started ad-libbing more.
These were rehearsed to death.
@@flybobbie1449 no I shouldn't think so
Juliette Mills is gorgeous.
*Juliet

Loved her in "Carry On Jack"
Yes, she was saucy working in a cathouse!
At 01:36, you can hear Eric screaming with laughter when Ernie flubs his line.
*fluffs
Juliet Mills in this was so "unprofessional" but, her "corpsing" is one of the true highlights of this sketch ! Wonderful.
Notice Juliet's one of the few guests that can't stop cracking up at Eric... Which encourages him all the more... He just won't let her go!
tiffin! good idea. i like the shorts, socks+shoes look.
Ernie: "I have a rickshaw"
Eric: "Shouldn't you wear some form of appliance for a thing like that?"
Poor Juliet...fifteen seconds with Eric and she's already gone!
I haven't laughed this hard since Brian Blessed hosted Have I Got News For You!
Juliete is the image of her father .
Seen it b4 it's good!!!!!!!
"Kiss me Hubert!"
"Kiss yer what?"
Where can you find such gut-busting humour now?
Real comedy, timing no swearing that's up to you?, big bad bob
he calls her mrs. mills and she's gone
Brilliant comedy
Lovely Juliet! Just 5 years from being possessed by Satan in BEYOND THE DOOR(1974)!
What a beautiful woman, next to watch - Avanti
Ernie is so cute in that hat!
Julie corpsing right from the beginning lol
I lost it at 7:34.

I laughed when they compared Ant & Dec to Morecambe & Wise, after watching this episode I am not laughing now.
Not fit to lick their socks
I don't get it.

elkeartsandcrafts Elaine Jones Why tell us ? You’re not funny either.
Well said Mark Adderley.
Did you get dropped on your head as a child!!!!!!!
Seen her face? nothing could be funny after seeing that.
