Did you ask for a darker blue or is this just how they send it out? I know you said he asked the color, was he giving you options like red? Or was he referring to the shade of blue you wanted? Sorry, hope the question makes sense

I gave him the shade that I wanted. I don't really care for the lighter shade of the original. If I had gotten the red strap, I would've went with the darker ox blood color
