Before changing the bags, did your compressor work? I have a hummer h2 sut, my mechanic said the airbags are damaged and I need to replace them because the rear suspension is low but when I started the truck I don't hear the compressor and am not sure if the compressor is damaged or just need to change the bag and after that maybe the compressor will work again

Irvin Garcia yes the compressor worked, the bags has nothing to do with the compressor!

@@christophebonnegrace3162 ok thanks for answering, i thought that due to a pressure leak the bag the compressor stopped working, i think i will change mechanics thanks for your time

Irvin Garcia when the bags are defective meaning there is a crack and air is leaking the compressor just keep running every 5 minutes,

@@christophebonnegrace3162 ok ok I understand, maybe my problem is the compressor because the fault started on the board with "service to air suspension" and at first the suspension was down after turning it off and then the suspension goes down after using it for 3 hours in a row but If the compressor was heard as you say every 5 min and one day overnight, when you turned it on, the bags no longer inflated and the compressor was no longer heard. You had to open and close the switch many times and you already heard the compressor and then the suspension was already up

I hope I cN get a response. I know this post is over a year old. I have a 03 H2 hummer. I am faced with an issue that
My bags will air up and stay up for days or weeks then I look up and they are down. Once I start the truck the bags will inflat. Depending on how long I am driving they may stay inflated or they may go down and then I am riding around sagging in the back. I hear the compressor run for the most part. Should I replace the bags first. Went to dealership when this first started and they were trying to rape my pockets. Please help some one

Hey brother, thanks for making the video! Very helpful and super clear!
Question- Do you remember what size and dimension and brand name of the airbags that you purchased to replace your old ones with?
Also, when looking online, a lot of websites and Amazon show a lot of different airbags that they say are compatible with the H2 Hummer, and yet they all seem to be different dimensions some say 21 inches tall and others say eight or 10 inches tall. Any info you have on this would be really great so that I can make sure I order the right ones. Thanks so much again for your help!
    Myles-

I went directly to the dealership and bought them there so I really don’t know the dimensions, so sorry!

Seriously, i keep pulling and the airline does not come out. Im starting to think its a quick connect? I had to cut my airline at the top. There was nothing i needed to worry about because the new bags are just push in. But since i pulled and scratched at the airline im concerned i wont get a good seal now. Fyi. I also pulled the side panel in wheel well to see top of air bag. I wouldn't have too if i knew the info i just told you. Good luck.

Pull on the air line??? Not even close. You don’t show what a pain in the ass it is twisting and locking the airbag into place.
