    Do you all want tiger king season 2?!

    • @PavSZ

      YES!!!!! It might have to be called Tiger Queen this time ;) #hascarolebaskingkilledherhusband

      Anson & Co. nah lol it feels complete to me. Outside of never knowing what happened to Carole’s husband. Maybe if the Tiger King wasn’t locked up it would be an interesting second season.

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They apparently shot enough for two more seasons. I’d be interested to see what they got, but you’re right it does seem kind of complete. But hey money talks and I am sure they will want to take advantage of that cash cow

    Great review. The quality of the footage from this lens is just outstanding. Love it!

    Dood you're really making me interested in those 7artisans lenses! For the price, they seem really good.

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Honestly if it wasn’t for the small form factor I would take them to more cinematic type pro shoots. But I like taking my more beefy lenses to those lol seems more impressive? Random I know
      But for the price 100% great lenses!

    hi was wondering whether you would make a series explaining photography & videography to absolute beginners! i’m struggling a bit with the exposure triangle, as well as understanding basic terms like zoom lens (?) and what different mm of lens mean & do and basics of editing a photo and video as well as manual focus and all that stuff :-) really enjoy your content i hope you keep them coming !! 🤗

    • @bastillebeast
      @bastillebeast 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ooo and how to take care of your camera & lens too !! :”)

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      roxey alam thanks for watching! I’ve toyed with a series like this and even made an video on the exposure triangle. Maybe it’s something I’ll keep doing but generally I don’t get a ton of interests in those videos. Hit me up on Twitter @ansonandco if there is something I can help with I would be glad to or find a video that would be helpful.
      In the meantime, check out my minute video on the exposure triangle if you are interested - th-cam.com/video/TVzY0-spgdg/w-d-xo.html

    Very nice review.
    With which of the two cameras did you make the footage of the minute 6:15?

  • @Dionne_Sheree
    @Dionne_Sheree 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Beautiful shots and thorough review! I’m looking at everything f1.4 nowadays lol! Fast fast fast! Thank you for adding the low light coverage in!

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! F1.4 is great for sure. That being said I would take anything that has 2.8 or lower, that’s a good nice wide open aperture and often times pretty affordable.
      I actually initially shot those scenes for a full low light video, so More to come... hopefully hahaha

    • @Dionne_Sheree
      @Dionne_Sheree 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anson & Co. yes 2.8 /1.8 are for sure more affordable and fine. I’m going through my shallow depth of field obsession right now so the faster the better although keeping focus with too fast of a lens is a task lol. I think the way you tied the lowlight into reviewing a lens instead of just shooting a lowlight specific video was great as is because I always like to see what gear was used to achieve the best lowlight for the Gh5. Thank you again!

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes agreed! Shallow depth of field makes for such a gorgeous picture. Especially on something telephoto like this. But for real if I didn’t have focus peaking i would be lost on focus LOL I dare to venture into 1.2/1.1 - shaky hands McGee over here would just film a bunch of unusable footage 😂 what are you 1.4s are you looking into at this point?

    • @Dionne_Sheree
      @Dionne_Sheree 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anson & Co. rotfl! Right! I’m debating on the Sigma prime trifecta, Panasonic Leica 25 1.4, vintage f1.4’s and Alex Minor did a great review on Kamlan 28mm f1.4 which I’m searching on eBay. Looks like they are only available to ship from China with a wait. I’m impatient as if I have clients right now. Lol! I love this 55 you just reviewed and want this now too lol! Shaky hands for the Mitakon 25mm 0.95 too? Lol!

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That focus mechanism is a dust pump, they made a bad decision to not simply extend the length of the lens housing.

    La pausa en la fluidez del anillo de zoom parece que es una característica del 55mm, no solo de tu copia. Al mío le sucedía lo mismo jaja

      Anson & Co. i went with the 50mm 1.8! Trying new primes for street, thought it might be better to use a little less focal length to start. Hoping to get the 26mm too:)

  • @hertzelarmengolrivera3927
    @hertzelarmengolrivera3927 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This vs the olympus 75mm seems like great value, olympus is a little more zoomed in and has auto focus but it is 7 times more expensive

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not opposed to expensive lenses. I may have a slight panic attack when I click “purchase” but generally there is a reason for the cost. I’ll have to check it out. I love my 85mm Rokinon so that will be hard for me to replace. Thanks for the info though ✌🏻
