    Thanks 1A Auto I've changed oil in several cars it helps to watch ur videos if I'm not in a rush so I can grab the right size socket and not have to bring the whole box out for a simple oil change and y'all take away the guess work out of hunting for the filter and drain plug.

    I can’t believe how damn easy it is 😳 You just taught me how to change my oil in less than 10 minutes 👏🏽 it’s crazy been getting charged $100 and this is all they do if only I had something to lift my car up to change my filter 🤦‍♀️

    5w30? Back in the day we were trained that the higher millage the vehicle had, the thicker viscosity the oil needed to be. I think that theory has been abandoned in the last few years. What do you think?

    Gotta get my drain plan in place, as well as the drain PAN....make sure you have a PLAN when draining.

    Can I skip the hood removal part? Seems a bit redundant. Jk 😆 . Thanks for the video! I don’t know why the oil weight for this car wasn’t specified in the video though. I’m assuming it’s 5W-30.

    You didn't explain the size of the wrench, or the type of oil. People want to know just that sometimes. Good video.

    Do you have to replace the drain plug?

  • @brettwilson359
    @brettwilson359 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Isn't it a better idea to remove the oil filter after removing the drain plug AND before reinstalling the drain plug to drain the quarter quart (or so) of oil in lines? I know it's knit picky but it was ground into my head to make sure the drain plug was not replaced until after the old oil filter was removed or, at very least, it was loosened to allow that extra oil in the lines to drain.

    You think they would have made it so when you takeoff the oil filter, it doesn’t drain all over the frame
