How you assess this situation : Sagittarius ascendant with Sat and ketu placed in it and Jupiter in 12th house in scorpio sign and jupiter getting no aspects from any other planet. I also have Jupiter in 12th house in my d1 chart, but here I have some confusion ....
I have leo ascendant and Jupiter is in 12th with sun and ketu....
So Jupiter is in karka sign is exalted, here Jupiter is in punarvasu, and in d9 it is in pushya, so I guess it is good thing....
Now Jupiter is with ascendant Lord and in Leo it is 5th Lord too( and they both sit together in 12th house)
But Jupiter and sun together so it is combust too, that is not a good thing,
It is also in rahu ketu axis
And other thing is it also creates viparit rajyog as being Lord of the 8th
And as you mentioned here about 4th and 9th house, as I have leo ascendant Lord of the 4,9 is Mars, and from 9th house it is aspecting to 12th house......
So how I should conclude this position of Jupiter.....

Thank you . I am Virgo ascendant Jupiter in 1st in Lagna chart and Jupiter moves to 12 th in Bhava chart . How shoud I consider? Because some things from 1st house some things from 12th is suits. I can analyse this for my self . But how to judge for others with this kind of Chart?
I say both. I have same placement. I see it ping back and forth based on my doubt. My doubt make it subconscious.. yet the Blessing still appear. I now walk with more awareness to be healthier and less stress. And it also helps me know my balance with others .
I also have this placement of Jupiter in 12th house and everything you said is bang on , especially about loss of optimism in life. I am a Capricorn ascendent with Mars in the 8th house and sun mercury in the 11th house . Though jupiter is aspecting my 4th house and Venus being in 10th is also aspecting the 4th but i think due to 4th lord gone in 8th there is no happiness. I am so concerned and I just diving into Vedic astrology and I am 58 and a bit concerned. I actually have Mars, Jupiter and Mercury all in the 12th house. This is freaking me out. I have had some health concerns lost my vision in my left eye and had to have brain surgery and doing good with just seeing out of one eye. I honestly feel blessed because the tumor was pressing on both my optic nerves and I could of easily woken up blind. I seem to catch every cold and really eat healthy exercise and take vitamins daily. I do have low energy and my whole life since a child I have fainting spells. I wish I could afford to do my whole chart but at this time not possible. Do you have any advice for me?

The thing about self sabotaging is so on point. I legit suffer from Imposter syndrome :’( I’ve always been so emotionally available for everyone and over the years the only thing I’ve received is loneliness. Thanks to spirituality, which has helped me overcome depression. My Jupiter in Pisces aspects 4th house which has Sun, Mars, Mercury and Venus conjunction. Saturn and moon are in Aries ascendant with Rahu ketu in 5-11 resp. All my planets are going bonkers I suppose. I have no clue what life path and career this shows :( One thing is clear, I am super under confident and extremely uncertain about my career which is the primary reason I stare at walls whole day.
