- Microworlds are exactly what you’d expect from the name “Microworlds”. They’re little chunks of landscapes, based on biomes, themes or other things like popular movie scenes or famous places. The idea behind Microworlds is nothing more than simply capturing the essence. I wanna translate the look and feel of the subjects I choose in a nice “cozy” way.
Since it's christmas Eve today I thought let's make a christmas version, sicne we never made one before! Enjoy :)

Really cool edit, but if you want some extra detail the lake would not be frozen solid, so on the edges of your micro world cube make the top part of the lake frozen, and the bottom water.
And it would probably reach the ground, 'cause I think when there is no snow, there's still water. So it doesn't really make sens for the water to be on top of the snow and not under

The fact that it's shallow makes it a bit more passable though.

I don't get it why you stop making microworlds, this project is sooo cool and unique you should keep making them
Yeah it is VERY interesting but it can also get VERY repetitive and boring for the creator

These are NOT unique and have been around for a longtime now
the more they are, the more repetitive it gets. And since he sells these artworks as NFTs that would make them worth less. It makes sense for it to be a limited number of them. But it is fun to experiment with this artstyle concept yourself!!

Not a fan of NFT's or the concept of them in general, but these are something different. Actually creative if you will. Not just taking a monkey, slapping a hat on it and changing the colors around.
Same here, not into NFT's, but this one feels special. Maybe because they are custom made and look actually appealing instead of them just being procedurally generated.
They're still NFTs, in some ways it's actually worse he's spending so much effort on them when it doesn't even matter when it comes to NFTs, it's wasted on them.

@@kickpic4721 I've seen loads of his work, I've been subscribed ages. Even if this doesn't look as extreme as some of his other work, he's still putting way more work in than NFT people care for. Any amount is too high when it can be beat out by an ai generated image. It's just a waste, and it's weird an artist would support and make NFTs when they're so against artists. I can't and shouldn't feel too bad though, he IS making NFTs after all, waste his own time all he wants

I would add one thing if I may: snow and ice are SSS materials (Sub-Surface Scattering) therefore adding some light passing and dispersing close to the surface (on sides) would be a nice touch.

Hello 2002 when this kind of started.. this is OLD stuff in Photoshop... and Photoshop 6 or 7, or whatever it was back then, it was a fair bit harder than Photoshop 2022 today.... just saying.

This is awesome... I only have one small little issue with it... It's just a minor flaw. The water / River should be touching the rock floor as you will never have snow under water. Yes the water is frozen, but it still will never have snow under it.

I'm impressed that you made a 3d environment in photoshop. I've never seen that before. I thought it's way easier to do it in 3d but your workflow is really fast
but its so hard to find the resource to match the perspective hahaha
But it's not 3D. At no point, you would be able to rotate that cube or any of the assets.
Don't be fooled by the look of it, it's still a 2D illustration like any other photoshop edits. ;)
