The Sedgewick family had so many dark things in their history. I recently rewatched Ciao Manhattan. It was bitter-sweet, Edie was gorgeous until the end.
Love Edie. I found her story when I was a teen & was infatuated with her. I'm now 27.. just a year younger than she was when she passed. I can't help but wonder what kind of career she would've had if Andy Warhol didn't sink his teeth into her. She was truly an artist.. I can't believe the NY scene didn't outcast Warhol after all of that. To see people idolize him, makes me sick. So many people failed her & used her. I wonder what films would've been made if she had a supporting environment around her. I didn't know she had such a huge inheritance... Seems like they used her for her $, then when she wasn't useful anymore, they didn't need her. What a POS.
She was defiantly gone too soon. If she’d had the chance she would have been a great actress. She had a really dynamic screen presence. Thank you 🙏 for your comment
Just discovered this channel what a coincidence you came back after a year. Great videos I think anything to do with the Warhol Factory scene or 80s drag scene in NYC is very interesting especially because I am a young artist from that area. The actress Kiernan Shipka looks a lot like Edie Sedgwick she should play her in a movie or TV Miniseries.

Yes, it is a fascinating, complicated and sad story. Thank you for watching 🙏

Poor girl 😢 great video, thank you❤
Thanks for watching! 🙏😊
Such a sad, short life. I always thought Bob Dillon was an a$$ for the way he denied Edie. Great video!
I appreciate that, Edie’s life was definitely fascinating and sad. Thanks 🙏
Also Bob Dylan didn't treat her well. Never heard of Bob Dillon.

Thank you 🙏 for watching! Glad you discovered it the Channel. And Yes! To a new Edie Sedgwick biography. I’d love to see that.
Warhol was so nasty! Used anybody, but most of them were happy about that and volunteered.
You're an old soul
Thank you 🙏 😊
