The capalist system is the only system that woRKS WHAT YOU ARE PROPOSING IS THAT EVERYONE SHOULD BE POOR TO BE EQUAL AHAT JINCENVISD THOSE WITH INITIARVE.
it's the government's responsibility to create its own income as much as it can, especially in SA where there's almost every natural resource, state owned mining companies should be established & properly managed. if the government makes its own income & uses it to elevate the poor there'll be no need for these high taxes. No high taxes = more private companies to reinvest in this country & it also creates an environment for start up businesses to grow faster.
Problem is that even the government is made up by people and if there is nobody to oversee them then they become dictators. This is why governments shouldn't do what you want. If that's the case then we have a society where people won't be able to choose their own destinies.
This has to be the weakest Debate show, the madala was just here for defending his friends...but as they say "Anyone who benefits from status quo, will always defend his/her food."
