@@harryandlauren Best of luck with your adventures and we noticed a quick bit of Adz on the projector 😅😅 we must get out more!! We have a 640 SGX... Andy & Lyn.
This is a very nice van! I enjoyed building my own but it is also nice having a more professional job done too! 😂 seen you both appear on Adz videos, good to see you with your own channel and seeing your travels in the van! 🙌
Nice tour guys and cool van, don’t blame you going for this over a self build, I love the self builds but time was an issue for us as well, and must be a right headache getting things like insulation right so you don’t get problems down the line. Hope you enjoyed Vanlove, it was our first one, loved it, enjoy your travels. xx
Hi it's us again. We are not stalking you just saw you had a review of the Adria which looks great! We are looking at getting similar in January as we have outgrown our Trafic and want a bathroom and more room. There are four of us so just wondering - if the ladder is up on the higher bed can the people in the lower bed get out if you need a wee at night? We also like the pop top version but they cost a lot more. Thanks for showing us around! 😍😎👬
Hey! Haha - since starting the channel my new favourite thing to do is sit down with a cuppa and reply to comments so the more the merrier 😅 Yes I can imagine - having a bathroom was a must for us 🙏🏼 We took the ladder out because you can still get on the top bed without it - and it does make it a little tricky to get out of the lower bunk! The pop top version is lush, but takes it over 3.5t so we chose to go without! Gorgeous vans though, you wouldn't regret it 🙏🏼🥰
@@harryandlauren ha ha thanks for the reassurance and for the info. The boys will find a way to get up there then - they get up to our Poptop like little monkeys! Thanks again! 😍😎👬
Hi guys, thanks for the great video. I'm looking at getting an Adria Twin, was the bunk bed an aftermarket purchase or is it standard for your model? Happy travelling!
@@justintrainer936 thanks Justin! It came with the van, we've got the SPB Family (I think it's the 'family' bit that gets you the top bunk). We absolutely love our van, if you do get one you won't regret it 🤍
'Am I talking sh*t?' 😅 I don't know why that amused me so much. Definitely here because I saw you in Adz' video, and a great first video it was too! Your camper looks fab, and your dog is adorable. 😁🐾
Congratulations, you have made a serious investment. The current prices are very high and are not justified, especially since the quality of the products has also decreased. A question, how long did the refrigerator with a compressor at 12 v work with the old 100 Ah AGM battery? Thank you
Yes, we were pretty fortunate and bought at the right time! We've seen a lot of posts about the build quality recently.. Also glad we have the Fiat chassis, purely from a personal preference. We changed the battery fairly early on, so in all honesty, I'm not sure! We have never turned the fridge off, and never had a flat battery, if that helps! Are you thinking of getting an Adria? 😊
@@harryandlauren Hello, I have an Adria Twin with a trivalent refrigerator (gas, 12 v DC, 230 v AC) and I was thinking of installing a 12 v DC refrigerator.
For us an inverter is absolutely necessary, I have a 2000w pure sine inverter, i paid 200€ for it on amazon. It has a wireless remote. I make pizzas, we use our airfryer, microwave without plugging the van to shore Power. I use our Senseo Coffe machine on the inverter and it's a dream, just like at home. Perfect ! For more Info, send me reply. :-) cheers from Belgium.
@@harryandlauren hi there, with a 2000w inverter , no problem when using a hairdryer. I also installed a priority switch, so when I'm connected to shore power, the system automatically detects it and uses the external power. When I'm not plugged, the system activates the inverter. Absolutely lovely. The brand is NDS, model SP230. Very easy to install. The inverter is a DATOUBOSS 2000W found on Amazon. Have fun
Looks a well appointmented modern van. With lots of storage and flexibility, especially like it having an oven. P.S. if you fit a Renogy pure sine wave inverter with UPS functionality, it seamlessly switches between hookup and battery powered mains. 230ah is likely rated at 200amps continuos and will run a 2000w inverter without degrading the battery. Why do you have bunk beds, are you planning on having children in the near future?
Yess it's perfect! Ooooh thank you! Would I be able to use my hairdryer? That's all I want one for 🤭🙏🏼 Nope, not planning on having children - we like to go away with friends/ family so the top bunk is a great addition!
@@harryandlauren you could certainly use a hairdryer but not all hair dryers as some are under 2000w and some over 2000w. You could fit a 3000w inverter and not have a problem but you would need your current lithium battery to be rated at 300 amps continues or else add a 100ah lithium battery to your existing battery in parallel. The DC house batteries look reasonable well built and protected judging by the teardown of them and are available for £200. The renogy inverter spices between the mains feed into the van and the outlets. And comes with a remote controller to turn it on.
Why did you lie!! Lauren said “I like the occasional drink” every time I see you at an event you have a drink in your hand!! Explain!!
