Hello Nsit Esme thank you for visiting my channel i'm so glad that you've watched my video.
On the top of the mountain there is what you call " SCOGLIO di STA RITA" or ROCK di SAINT RITA a large oblong shape rock believed to have the marks of St. Rita's knees and elbows, at the lower part of the mountain on which Roccaporena stands slopes for more gently than the upper part with a northwards running river that passes rocky crags sprouting up through the fields and farmland stretching down to the water edge. In some places the water runs thru canyon like gorges offering a dramatic contrast to the arcadian landscapes. It is immediately after one of these narrow gorges that the river runs along the SACRED ROCK of Roccaporena and then flows eastwards past the steep slopes of Monte della Sassa towards CASCIA where Saint Rita's was born,
