@dodge93city Sad, Anita was already ill by the time of this taping. You can see how puffy her face was from the prednizone treatments. Her rheumatoid condition got so bad that not much later, June & Johnny took her into their home where she needed 'round-the-clock care until she passed on. The same thing killed my dad.
Great foot tapping gutsy performance AND BY WOMEN ON GUITARS. I currently folk sing round the various circuits and guitar players are predominantly all male.
Helen got hotter and hotter the older she got, and June was really talented, she can play guitar and auto harp really good but was overshadowed by Maybelle and Helen because they were pretty special at picking
