Yeah they're killing it basically because they haven't found a way to monetize it but they COULD try making it like battlegrounds maybe? Where like they give you more heroes to choose from in the beginning if you have the battle pass or smthng? Like they didn't even explore making it profitable
@@josephstylin5268 That’s a fine idea. And it’s not like Arena is making them tons of money but they keep that going. It was one thing to kill mercenaries. That game mode was doomed from the jump. But there’s just so much potential with duels. Ah well, that’s just how it goes. Feel legit bad for Roffle.
the one good thing that's come sense the announcement that duels is going away is that i feel like i am running into a lot of opponents with more interesting decks than just dragon druid again. i think people are actually trying stuff out now that there's a time clock to do so

i think they can't delete mercs because its content (by that I mean microtransactions) are exclusive, meaning they might get in trouble for it. if someone bought classic packs for example, they can argue that the cards are still playable in wild (although most of them aren't)
I just dont understand why cant they just leave it in the game, it would kinda get updated same way wild is getting updated by introducing new cards to the card pool
