This one is a little different and hits a bit harder because it’s a unit song, where the rappers get to flex a little 🤭 Seventeen is a 13 member group split into 3 units: hip hop, vocals, and performance. This song is the hip hop unit. Each unit usually gets a song on each album. But they don’t always break up by unit. The leaders of each unit have a couple of songs (Cheers and Change Up). On one album, they split up by age lines instead of unit. Of course there’s a BSS (Fighting and Just Do It).
Anyway, so now you know 4 members (S. Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon). Only 9 more to go 😂
They are a self-produced group from the start.
This year marks their 10th year.
They started with a building enveloped in flames that appeared in the music video.
They are currently on a large label, but started with a bankruptcy wrestling label.
It's going to continue to grow ！

Hip Hop unit from svt is usually about flex and message to the haters so I love it😃 also I love svt leaders unit songs so you also can check it they have MV🙃
I think you’ll like some more of Seventeen’s unit and subunit songs - SVT Leader’s Cheers and Change Up for example. There’s a few that don’t have music videos like hip hop unit’s Fire, Monster, Back It Up.
Also, Seventeen’s two other unites - Performance and Vocal - will have mvs for their new tracks coming out next week and the following week.
This is specifically the hip hop unit. Every Friday for the rest of May each unit will release a mv for their unit songs. Definitely should check out the performance and vocal units later.
Seventeen’s hip hop unit just hits different for me. I’ve had this song on repeat since the album dropped. The MV did not disappoint. Next week they will drop the MV for the Performance Unit’s song Spell.
You should definitely check out the live stages.
A lot of 4th generation groups look up to Seventeen. Especially Straykids and Ateez.

lalali is a song by the hiphop team! i watched your monsta x reactions and you realllyyy liked them and mentioned you ult stray kids. so im guessing your music type is like the noisy loud type. seventeen is more known with bright and fresh concepts, but they are self produced with one of their members as the main producer. so basically they have done every type of genre out there, and killed it every single time!
