Fabulous photography! I loved our Kenya safari holiday and I'd love to go on safari again. Doing it as an add on with a cruise sounds perfect. View for Ukraine 🇺🇦
It's 38 C (101 F) outside and your video opens with a crackling fire. Not what I wanted this afternoon. ;-) Enjoyed the video and look forward to many more. David
Thanks Wayne. We aim to be a little more frequent with our videos now. Hopefully one a week, Friday, Saturday or Sunday (dependant on how good or bad the week goes lol)
I was going down my YT list this morning and was sad I had not seen a VWU recently. Yeah! P.S., technically, I suspect you would recommend watching the first two episodes even if we have watched them before. :-)
Thanks toccoa. We've been a it quiet lately as lif has had other ideas. However, we're back now and aim to get a video out every week. Thanks for your patience. It means a lot to us. ☺️❤️
Hakuna Matata back at'ya! Wow, what a fabulous vlog, now we want to go there too. Will you stop it! No, never stop, keep sharing these wonderful moments. We gasped, sighed, cooed and laughed (horns the shape of a Dutch milkmaid's hair) like so many times before. Very well done Rich. You say at the end that you would go back in a heart-beat. Suggestion, how about planning a group trip some time in the future? You, of course would be media advisor, so we'd stand the chance of getting some good videos and pics. Oh, the head shot of the male lion and the still of the praying mantis - STUNNING!. Perhaps you could also tell us what camera equipment you use, essentials and the extra good ones that you've spoiled yourself (and us) with. :-)
Thanks as always for your lovely support and kind words P&L. A group trip sounds like a great idea. Co-ordinating folks from all around the world is another matter though! 😆 Yes, the photography I'm particularly proud of. But with a decent camera and lens setup, even an idiot like me can get good results. 😂
Might I ask how you chose Amakhala Game Reserve? Ages ago, a friend spent 3 years in London and he and his wife did a couple of the safaris - I can't recall, Sangita perhaps? They rave about them. Frequently. There is a lot more choice now. I bet they all are wonderful, but how does one choose? Have you done any SA cruises? Does it make sense to try to dovetail a cruise with a trip - it is a 24+h trip for me?
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment as always toccoa. 🙂 We did a lot of research and decided Amakhala and Bukela gave us everything we wanted and it wasn't too off the beaten track. I'd definitely recommend bolting one on after a cruise. After all, if you've gone to all that effort getting out there... 😉

Thanks Angela. :) We really enjoyed this little post cruise land adventure. When you're going that far it's a must!
What a fabulous experience, would love to see all these animals close up. Definitely a bucket list trip!
Thanks P&C. It's quite unreal to see these beautiful creatures in their own back yard. Definitely worth a special trip. ❤️
