Its one of the best student companion I've seen so far.Although its not the fastest convertible on the market. ..it can manage your homeworks..web browsing..light editing and media consumption.

I had very bad experience with Microsoft surface pro 3 , exactly 26 days after warranty expiration, the laptop wouldn't work ,I called customer service many times, I done everything they said over the phone ,also I did everything ppl said on youtube in same problem they had, nothing change and didn't work the laptop is totally dead ,and Microsoft customer service suggest me to pay them £450 to send me new one .
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is really TRASH and I advise to all peapole to not waste your money to buy Microsoft surface pro ,
I won't go for any Microsoft product again, and I'm very happy with my new Mac .

I have a surface3
I'm planing to buy one for my university works next week.I was using a Asus Vivotab note8 for past few months and I want to know whether it is worth upgrading for a S3.
Defenitely....its worth upgrading coz
its a fully functional computer that can be used as a tablet...
the type cover is a magic...and the surface pen is a 'pen' rather than a stylus...it works just like a pen and paper...
these are the things you wont get on the asus vivotab note 8
plus s3 is a 64 bit machine...it comes with 128 gb ssd...
surface tablets gonna be the best with windows 10 which will release in the end of july.

im stuck between getting this or the dell insperion 13 7000 :( they're the same price but once you add the type cover, its much more expensive and i can still use the dell active stylus which is even cheaper than the surface pen. the dell is also much faster with an i3 on the model ive been looking at

Hello, I'm hoping you can help me out with something. I just bought my surface 3, 2 days ago and I love it! Except for some reason every time I go on TH-cam, or a TH-cam video come up on a webpage... It doesn't play. It keeps saying "an error focused. Please try again later"
I'm hoping to can help figure out why and how to fix the problem. If you could mad a video that would be even better! Thank you
its not a hardware issue....you might have to install or upgrade the flash player...
or else it seems to be a network issue...

Yeah, the surface 3. Its nice, but mine messed up 4 weeks later and I had to get a warranty fixed, other than that it's peachy. If you got the cash, and want to store your notes digitally, I'd get it.
I'm very hesitant on getting this, with the type cover and pen it will come go about 800$ (I am thinking of the 600$ surface). but for that I can get the Dell xps 13 (also 800$ for base model) I am in high school right now but buying a laptop to use now and later for college, should I get this or the Dell xps 13??

The base model of the Dell XPS13 is a little more powerfull then the Surface 3 but you'll lose the pen and touch input. If like those aspects of the Surface 3 the Dell XPS13 is not even an option, it depends all on what you think is more important. Personally I would go for the Surface 3 if I where going to college.

Hey is the 4gb good for heavy multitasking. Say I were to have chrome open with 15 tabs and Microsoft word open in another window. How well would the Surface 3 hold up?
I currently have an hp stream 11 with 2gb ram and intel celeron. It can barely do 5 tabs of chrome.

u will get drawboard pdf pre installed. As a student myself, drawboard has been the best app for reading and editing pdf. However u may encounter some lags if the files is bigger than 20 pages or so.

It might be able to. But if your going to be using visual studio I would just get the Surface Pro 3. Thats what ive been using for school
so I have 2 questions though. I usually have to run atleast 3 apps or Web pages at the same time; my blackboard, email, and either Microsoft Office or the Pearson or McGraw-Hill Connect. my question to anyone that would know, is this possible with the Surface 3 or do I need to go with the Pro?
I think the pro might be better if u want to stick on with multi tasking or heavy content...

yeah...but you'll lose your only usb port to the bluetooth dongle unless u use a usb hub...
