I wonder if this will eventually get the 2.0L turbo that’s in the new Cherokee and Wrangler.

Super Dan doubtful, especially if it would keep a similar state of tune to what it delivers in the Cherokee.

as others have said, it is difficult to not take this review with a grain a salt when it is done on a prepared "off-road" course. A natural course, even an off-road park, would be better than a Jeep prepared press event course. It would have been nice to see how Active I and Active II differ in the real world on the same terrain. Also, "Trail Rated" is not on a sliding scale; it is a specific set of criteria that Jeep sets the standard for and the vehicles with it possess certain features to help them succeed against a series of grueling tests in five categories (established by Jeep): Traction, Water Fording, Maneuverability, Articulation and Ground Clearance. Does everyone need these features, No, but some are useful if you plan to be more rough with your vehicle and they do cater to an outdoor, off-road minded person. What I learned from watching this is I'm not buying a Jeep; however I too am impressed with the full size spare.

Impressive little car! If you have something like an ARB AirJack amzn.to/2DJnYYW it’s a lot of fun to take these small utes off-road and not need massive tires for fear of getting stuck.

8 speed auto more power and fix that dam gap in key ignition and then I'm all for it.....otherwise get a 2018 kia rio hatchback

1:40 That's a hell of an obstacle for a 4x4 to get stuck on! Pathetic.

Never, ever pay money for a grand cherokee. Complete dogshit 'reliability'.

No it isn't "worth a look". It's a Renegade on stilts.

The Renegade has a little bit more ground clearance.

Any company promoting Jeep products in this day is a paid shill. Chrysler was already cheap, unreliable garbage before the dagos bought them out. I can't imagine how bad their QC is now...*shudder*

BS, I've spent some time in the new Compass and it's a great little SUV.
