i find this so calming. when im having a panic/anxiety attack, i have someone put this on for me. after like 2 or 3 times, im completely calm again. not sure why it helps me so much like that. probably cause of the nostalgia
@@thimojansen5136 Ah, but that was fun though. As above, the real stress was players with better items (and internet speed) mining the ore before you...
This would honestly be such a nice song for a funeral, both because it has such a calming yet melancholic vibe, and because lumbridge is the respawn point for all those that pass.
I dont think you understand the nostgalia this just brought up in me... man im in my feels. In those moments when the weight of life feels overwhelming, the familiar chords of that acoustic guitar seem to serve as a gentle reminder that amidst the chaos, there's a serene corner waiting for us in Lumbridge. Music has this incredible ability to transcend time and space, offering a refuge where we can momentarily escape the trials of reality. May the Lumbridge theme continue to be your therapeutic retreat, guiding you to a place of tranquility whenever you need it most. Wishing you many more moments of peace and solace as you navigate the ebb and flow of life's challenges.
Mine too, a massive part that made me fall so much in love with the game 20 years ago was the music, I’ll never forget listening to harmony, my irl friend who showed me the game messaged me and told me how to find him, when I did find him, he was standing on lumbridge bridge shooting ducks with a crossbow and I thought that was so cool hahaha
I remember when my more experienced friends would take me into the Wildy and I once panicked and ran off. I just started running straight south and ended up in EdgeVille. I had no idea where I was. Also never forget "uhhh, im in a city with a bunch of white buildings!"
@@ioverslept. You're probably right, definitely on RS3, but who plays RS3 lol. Jk. Runescape has a staggering amount of content, though. 156 quests in OSRS with a very small minority being pointless/stupid. Compare that to the quests in other MMOs. World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, etc. The quests are incredibly simple, require little to no thought, ie Run here, kill that, get the trophy, bring it back. Escort this guy. Collect 20 hides. Runescape at least requires some thinking and some of the quests are oddly complex and sometimes even convoluted. I know most players either use online guides or RuneLite, but that just goes to show how complicated the quests can be, the fact that many players require guidance to get through them. Not to mention the story, background lore, everything there is to learn about the world.
This is honestly so wholesome. We’ve all grown up playing this game, quitting sometimes, yet always returning. It’s made such a mark on our lives and now, after what felt like just a couple games of castle wars, we’re grown ups.
To me, this cover tells a story. One of the dear memories and excitement of exploring a new world, full of stories and wonder - later becoming like an old friend, in adulthood. Thanks for this. Love it.
Remember, on OSRS just achieve your childhood dreams. I only cared about getting 1 99, and just just having high stats in respectable skills. I've achieved that now, and a little beyond. Now I just log in a month or two a year. I chop trees in Draynor, fish at barb, or muck about at the G.E and love the experience. I'm not saying you should do this yourselves, but it's the best way. We're adults now, no need to grind alongside every update.
This took me back to the days of the the 7th grade computer lab, all the way back in 2008 . Avoiding the teacher's gaze, ensuring that qbasic was ready to pull up everytime she was looking, and killing goblins while she wasn't. Somehow your guiters feel so much more nostalgic than the og...and they somehow drew a few tears

damn bro, that Nordic sound is sorely missed in their discography. I absolutely loved Ride the Lightning and that opening to Fight Fire with Fire. this is what that reminds me of. Also can't forget to live is to die.
Reminds me of my brother. We would play RS all day and night when we were kids in the 2000’s like nothing else mattered. I still play tho, takes me back to simpler times.
So beatiful. I imagine the days when all the computers and internet have long been destroyed, but we once more gather onto the campfire and play the songs of memories past.

One thing I hate are covers, because they tend to change the song so much I don't like it anymore. But I liked this video a lot, I actually like it more than the original version of Harmony from the OST. You two should be very proud of this
why do you feel the need to announce your autism? you could praise him and leave out the autism part and it literally makes no difference. Maybe its the autism?
@@raz0rcarich99that note is the sweetest. You know why? Because it reminds you it's two people playing it. And those people love the thing you love and want to remind you to love it to. And that's pretty cool right? How crazy is it that we can learn things at all

RIP my childhood. 9/11 happened and I started to see the world change. Not long after I saw the wars starting live on TV and then for years and years I saw the death tolls. Then I grew up and fought in the same war. But as a kid, I spent hundreds of hours over those years finding solace and fun with the fantastic community of RuneScape. This song shares that soul.
